A blessing in a city of limited options - Edit
The staff spoke little English, so I used the Vegan Passport app to explain our needs. We got a vegetable spagetti in oil and salad. Be sure to ask for the salad without ham. Although a very simple meal, it was really yummy. And at least somewhere that is willing to change their menu.

Cons: No vegan options on menu

Kind staff - Edit
This is a predominantly meat-based cafe/restaurant. But despite that, when I explained I was a vegetarian, they kindly went over all ingredients with me to be sure the dish I ordered had no meat in it. I ordered a soymilk with berries and omurice with tomato sauce. Normally the omurice would come with chicken, but they made the adjustment and even added more vegetables to the dish to give it more nutrition.
Read moreAs it is super hard to come across vegetarian dishes in Tottori, especially so close to the station, I will definetly return here
Be mindful that the concept of vegetaria nism and veganism is pretty foreign to a lot of Japanese. So carefully state what you can and cannot eat or there might be a mistake made.
Pros: Staff is very mindful about dietary needs, Soymilk on the menu😄, Delicious food
Cons: Not sure there will be something for vegans!
