Serves meat, vegan options available. Owner is from Boston. Will exchange cheese for another topping. Huge range of pizzas. Many vegetarian options can be made without cheese. English and Spanish spoken. Good for vegan food in what can sometimes be difficult Uyuni. Directions: there is no sign outside, just enter Hotel Tonito and ask. Restaurant is in the back room. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-10:00am, 5:00pm-9:00pm.

Great pizza - Edit
Had the pesto pizza which was the easiest to make vegan, toppings and crust were amazing. Open on Sunday nights too which helps. Europe-quality pizza for sure, would recommend

Good vegan pizza - Edit
Nice pizza place, the vegan pizzas were tasty. The homemade vegan cheese is more of a sauce, but tasty. Garlic bread was also good. Huge bottle of lemonade. Comparably expensive but tasty and also a comfortable place to wait for a night bus. Had a quick chat with the owner who was very friendly and personally made sure we knew how to get to our night bus.

Tasty vegan pizza! - Edit
We ordered The Works but subbed out the meats for veggies, and cheese for vegan cheese (which is made in-house).
Read moreAlso ordered the chips & salsa which were super tasty, however quite spicy! Try the fresh lemonade too!
Pros: Vegan options , Vegan cheese , Atmosphere

Very tasty pizza with self made vegan cheese - Edit
The pizza was delicious and the owner told me that he is making the vegan cheese himself. Highly recommend this place (very popular amongst travelers).

Great pizza, vegan garlic bread - Edit
I really enjoyed the vegan pizza (it’s without cheese).
Read moreThere are a lot of options for toppings and the dough is very good :)
The tomato soup is really good as well, and they said they usually have a vegan dessert to offer.
They also have nice drinks to offer.

What a pizza, everything fresh and homemade.
Read moreThe owner is very friendly and you can feel he loves what he does.
There's beer from tap, too.
Because it was Cristmas time, I got a quinoa waffle with fig jam for free. Delicious!

Vegan pizza!!! - Edit
We were so happy that in our hotel, this small restaurant existed that offered vegan options! The owner Chris is such a nice guy and was eager to mention all the vegan options he had. We ordered one large (45cm) vegan pizza with so many toppings to choose from. We also ordered garlic bread and nachos as starters. To finish off we got a vegan cookie. Everything was delicious. Great service and very quick! Highly recommend!

They make their own vegan cheese! - Edit
Four star as restaurant also serves meat, so can’t give 5 star but would have otherwise.
Read moreWell I knew we were on to a winner when we asked if they cater for vegans and were told that they make their own vegan cheese! I went for the make your own pizza option as this seemed easiest. I loved every mouthful. Food came quickly, as did our drinks. Staff could not have been more helpful.
Highly recommend this place.

Good vegan pizza - Edit
Vegan pizza’s are hard to find in Bolivia, but the owner makes his own vegan cheese and the staff is knowledgeable about vegan food. Pizza tasted very nice. However, the place is very expensive for Bolivian standards. We paid 115 Bs. for a large pizza (shared between 2).

5 stars even though not vegan - Edit
I would completely ignore other reviews talking about price
Read moreYes it’s more expensive than other places in Bolivia
But this is uyuni so everything is more expensive
And this is pizza which is not local food
And he sources ingredients from far away so it costs more
But it’s great pizza - he’s (Chris) very accommodating and loves giving little extra bits like his home made chocolate or cookies
They even have their own juice sometimes
Chris who runs the pizza place inside the hotel is such a nice guy and you can tell he loves his job and being with people
So easy to chat to and great advice
Deffo go if you’re in uyuni!
Pros: Great pizza , Great staff, Comfort food
Cons: None

Ridiculously expensive - Edit
The pizza was ok but not great and it is ridiculously expensive (at least 60-80bs for a small pizza) for Bolivia. Do not encourage this type of pricing please! Also, my friend had the cookies (not vegan) and they were "the worst cookies he ever had"

Good find in Uyuni - Edit
Tucked away inside Hotel Turino, next to the army base. Easy to make pizza vegan by swapping cheese for another topping. Nice crispy base. Eggplant was quite bitter. Homemade lemonade was delicious. Large pizza is a good size for 2 to share.

The place looks nice and was warm. We ordered toppings but hey were very very scarce on the pizza and the pizza was not really warm. Soup was very tasty. Friendly staff.

delicious Pizza & homemade bread - Edit
To enter just ring the bell and ask for the pizzeria.
Read moreI had a delicious garlic bread and afterwards a delicious small sized pizza.
You can ask for pizza without cheese and then decide your own toppings.
I put garlic, spinach and eggplants.
The pizza dough is thinner than thin, so that it's more like eating veggies with dough. Everything is homemade and fresh. Even the marmalade for breakfast. The staff is friendly and diligent.
You can enjoy your dinner with good music (Johnny Cash, John Lee Hooker, ect.)
Pros: nice vibe, choose your toppings, friendly staff
Cons: hidden

Delicious pizza!! - Edit
I must admit that South America can be a challenge for vegans and this restaurant was my saviour after completing the salt flat tour.
Read moreStaff understand when you ask for pizza without cheese and will not charge you for one of your choice of toppings (in lieu of the cheese).
Easy to make your own pizza depending on your preferences. It is the first time I had fresh herbs in my 4 weeks in South America so far!!
And their homemade lemonade is amazing - try it!
And to correct the previous review - you do not have to be a guest at the hotel to utilise the restaurant. Maybe in peak time they give preference to their own guests but I had no issue.
Pros: Vegan friendly pizza, Delicious fresh vegetables and herbs used
Cons: Expensive by Bolivian standards
