Not for the faint of spice - Edit
Best naan I’ve had. However, despite specifying “mild”, I could barely taste anything else we ordered due to the spiciness. At this point I don’t know if it’s possible for Indian food to be made without being spicy because no Indian restaurant has ever made the food mild when I asked but I think it would make this 5 stars if they would.

Excellent Indian Food! - Edit
Food was amazing, very vegan friendly. We had the soya Masala, garlic Naan, Chana dal and Gobi manchurian. All were amazing, and upon request they made sure all were vegan for us.

I have been a patron here a few years. The food is consistently high quality and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love to pre-order and pick up. But, even if I dine in or wait, it's ready pretty fast.

Delicious! - Edit
My favorite Indian food in town! They can make everything on the menu vegan (if it isn’t already!). The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about veganism😄It’s a tad expensive, but the portions are huge so it is worth it imo.

She was able to tell me what was definitely gluten free vegan. Many appetizer options and snacks. Nice staff. I like that it’s counter service. Nice tables. Great place to stock up with several items. Only purely Indian in Gainesville. Very helpful staff.

Love this place!! - Edit
I’ve had mint Indian a few times since moving to Gainesville. While I wasn’t always a fan of what I got, there food is high quality and can be very tasty. To preface I am quite picky, so my opinions may be biased in that sense.
Read moreBest dish I’ve tried is the Gobi Manchurian. SOOOOO good. It is battered and friend though so if you don’t like that then probably not for you. I asked about the batter and they said it is vegan as well so that was really nice. I also loved the Aloo Gobi and something with the lentil soup (can’t remember the name of the dish).
The main dish I didn’t like was the soya masala. It was quite sweet, which I think masala is meant to be sweet but this was a bit too much for me. The soya chunks were great though so if your into the sweet and savory thing go for it.
Overall I love this place.
Pros: Tons of options, Massive portions

Wonderful flavors - Edit
Conveniently located off 75, Mint Indian offers flavorful vegetarian Indian dishes, several of them vegan or vegan upon request. Entrees we ordered were $8-$9 and had generous portions. The samosas appetizer was delicious. Very basic and small area for seating inside, with a few additional picnic tables outside, which seated our group of three comfortably. Super casual, no frills, but tasted great and a good value. Traveling with our dog, we were grateful to be able to eat outside at this vegan-friendly convenient stop along our road trip home. Only wish they had their vegan options clearly marked on the menu, but the young woman at the counter did point out several choices when asked.
