Chai latte was good, not as good as others I’ve had. Really liked the chicken salad croissant, really liked the peppermint chocolate chip cookie, and the peppermint chocolate cupcake was nothing special-frosting was more like a light whipped cream so not a ton of flavor, kind of tasted like a cupcake out of a store box.

Not only did this bakery have tons of delicious, sweet pastries, cookies, and cakes, it also had savory bites as well. I had a taco Mac and cheese pastry that was so delicious. The latte was also amazing!!

We have been here twice now, both times we were passing through on our way home from vacation. Their cheddar bay biscuits are AMAZING. I wish I had ordered extras to take home with me. My husband got the buffalo chik’n sliders from the refrigerated case and said it was SO good. My son got a huge piece of coffee cake and loved it. We also each got cheddar bay biscuit, and I also got a chocolate croissant and an iced chai. Everything was amazing! They also have a mini store front with lots of awesome vegan products. Candy bars, seasonal items, stickers, jewelry and lots more.

Best Vegan Bakery in Richmond - Edit
Excellent cakes, cookies and wraps. I was only going there at the beginning to satisfy my sweet tooth but a friend recommended the “chicken salad” and now I get that every time I go. The BBQ is excellent. I also love the breakfast wraps. I do not recommend heating them. I did that the first time and it changed the consistency(not good). They are much better cold. My favorite cookies are the GF thumb print. They have an excellent texture and every flavor I’ve had has been yummy! I just wish they weren’t so expensive. $3.50 for one cookie is rather high.

We have gotten a lot of cakes for special occasions (with non Vegan family members) and you can not tell they are Vegan cakes. They are moist and delicious.

I have waited so long to come to this location, and I will say that it was very well worth the wait! I got to try their gluten-free chocolate chip cookies! As someone who is also gluten-free/watching their gluten intake, I was very skeptical that their gluten-free cookies would be different from their gluten counterparts. I stood corrected. They were so soft…I’ve never had a cookie so soft in my life! Not to mention that they were sweet and very delicious! The best vegan cookies I’ve ever had! I’m waiting for the day that they’ll one day introduce GF cupcakes!

For my birthday, all I wanted was a vegan cake and to send time with family. The cake was delicious!! The cake itself was moist and absolutely delicious, and the icing was delicious and creamy. This will definitely be the spot to visit for some vegan sweet treats. I would definitely recommend it.

I get my birthday cake here every year. I love to drop in and get the mac and cheese, general Tso's, breakfast burritos, marshmallows, and jerky. They also stock free vegan literature and sell cute pins and stickers. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Delicious drinks, treats, and grab-and-go items. They also have ready to go large cakes and pies as well as take-and-bake items like croissants and garlic knots. I didn’t get pics but we really enjoyed our pistachio milkshakes, breakfast burritos (in the to-go area, but/and they have an accessible microwave in the dining area), and so many sweets…oatmeal cream pie, pumpkin roll, and a unique take on cheesecake that had an almost mousse-like texture. They’re super dog friendly - our pups loved their pupcups!

What a luxury to have so many choices at an all vegan bakery! There were a lot of baked goods to choose from as well as a grab and go cooler that had some breakfast wraps and sandwiches. I got a spinach artichoke pastry, a strawberry almond scone, and an oat milk latte. Everything was so good, and I wish I could have tried more! Can't wait to go again next time I'm in the area.

Adorable Vegan Bake Shop - Edit
1st time here. I found parking on the street. Adorable bake shop. Nice inside. Clean. Inviting. Smells grab you at the door and pull you right to the counter. They have a fridge with food as well. I ordered two of their sea salt chocolate chip cookies which were delicious. I also ordered two of their chocolate nut cherry thumbprint cookies and they were also good. They have cupcakes, cakes, brownies and so much more. I would love to return here next time I am in the area.

Back in the area again. This location did not disappoint. They are vegan strawberry milkshake was out of this world. I bought many mixed baked items and they were all delicious. Lemon blueberry, scone, chocolate, chip cookie, pistachio, cookie, thumbprints, coffee, cake, baklava . Or phenomenal. Will come back every time I’m in the area.

Such a sweet 100% vegan cafe!! They have a huge variety of vegan baked goods, both sweet and savory! I went there multiple times during my visit. Of the baked goods I tried, I particularly loved the coffee cake and the bread pudding. They also have few coolers with pre-made burritos, Mac and cheese, and other meal items which you can take home or warm up in the microwave in the cafe. They also had some vegan grocery items in the coolers, like soy curls. The atmosphere was super welcoming and sweet and they even had a little “mini market” event going on on their lawn one of the days I was there. Would definitely recommend!

I am very sad not to be able to give more than max.3* for this place. I went 3 times before leaving this review hoping products will improve. The milkshakes taste like powder with aftertaste. The seasonal mappe bacon scone was very dry. The banana pudding was mostly just a thick pudding. Long wait time for drink orders. VERY PRICEY store.

I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable this bakeshop was along with an extensive selection of different types of vegan goodies. They also have a mini grocery area that has prepackaged sandwiches, burritos, tiramisus, been to a lot of vegan bakeries throughout the US and I can honestly say Minglewood has the best tasting Coffee cakes I’ve had (especially for the price ).
Read moreI got the blueberry coffee cake, the cinnamon sugar coffee cake, the Broccoli Mac parcel and a s’mores cookie. They all were good, but the coffee cakes are a MUST everytime (especially the Blueberry)!
If you can, try to get here as early as possible because things sell out quick !

So, so impressed with this little shop. Best croissant I’ve ever had, tons of options. The sliders, milkshakes, and baked goods were next level. Always a rotating selection with staples always available. Nice little area to buy novelties as well. Cute vibes, friendly staff, always patient with me when I take too long deciding (talking myself out of buying everything) what to get. Love it here!
