Cheap easy and yummmy - Edit
So good! Imagine a buffet of 100 different items and you don’t even know what they are but you can eat all of it!!! You don’t have to worry whether the thing that kinda looks like meat is actually meat or not! It’s amazing! And so good

Vegetarian buffet with lots of options - Edit
Lots of tofu options here including the stinky tofu that I’ve wanted to try but not commit to a whole order. Some simple veggie dishes too which I’ve been craving. Would definitely return if I wasn’t just passing through. Very good!

Lots of options but dishes weren't labelled vegan. They're not kept warm and can taste stale.

See what you eat - Edit
This restaurant is on the B3 floor of the mall next to Taipei main station and has a very good selection. It is self service and you pay by weight, either a box (for take out) or a plate if you're eating in.
Read moreThere are no labels for the food, but the staff are very friendly and will help you to choose vegan only options. However, everything is vegetarian.
Pros: Very good selection of vegan options, Cheap (pay by the weight)

There are a lot of options for you to pick from, but for me personally the food was quite cold (temperature). You pay for how much food you pick (by weight)

If I could give 6 stars i would. - Edit
If I could give 6 stars i would. Truly the best. It is a self service buffet and you pay by weight. See my pictures. They have everything. I had a full plate and it came to 208TWD. I would think many of the options are vegan and very easy to spot as everything is on separate trays with just one thing in each. For example I would think the trays of vegetables are just that. They are friendly and speak English so easy to check. They have a wide variety of mushrooms, vegetables and tofu. They also do takeaway. They are downstairs on floor B3. UPDATE - I have come back here many times during my stay in Taipei as the metro system is so fast I can easily travel here from anywhere in the city for my evening meal. When I am eating alone I prefer eat here and choose all the healthy options rather than go to a restaurant I don't know. I sometimes get a takeaway box to take back to my hotel.

As mentioned it’s on level B3. Would recommend the small white wraps/roll thing (not sure what it’s called), so tasty. The lady at the counter was very patient with me. Average mall atmosphere, but you can take away food.

Big buffet - Edit
The restaurant is located in level B3 of the shopping mall. Try to find restaurant "Nara", then you'll see it. The buffet is big, mostly veggies. Hardly any fake meat, if there even was any. Cold and hot dishes. You pay per weight except for rice/noodles. Cheap.
Read moreI liked the variety of food. Unfortunately most of the dishes were already quite cold. The dishes could be more flavourful as well. But all in all a decent option for lunch/dinner.

Very large range of dishes! - Edit
There are 3-4 times as many dishes to choose from as other vegetarian buffets in Taiwan. Everything was fairly flavourful and there were lots of interesting dishes that I hadn’t seen before in other buffets. It’s about the same price as other buffets as well.

Amazing for the price!! - Edit
As Americans, it can be challenging to find plant-based food options outside of the boutique restaurants likes Plants or Ooh Cha Cha. This little veggie buffet in the food court of the Q-Square mall was one of our favorite places in the city. You can get a huge filling meal with 5-grain rice for under $150 NTD (approx. $5 USD).
Read moreTons of amazing vegetables available. They also offer many mysterious food items in the buffet as well. It's fun to try a new sample each time and get a feel for the traditional Taiwanese flavors.
They have locations all over Taipei and all of them are clean, well-managed and delicious.
If you need a quick, cheap, filling veggie meal in Taipei, this is your go-to place! Thank you, Minder! Keep up the good work :)
Pros: Incredible value, Variety of veggie options, Fast queue
Cons: Not a ton of flavor, Usually located in busy malls

Beware of oil - Edit
Like many Taiwanese buffets, all the food is coated or swimming in oil. So take care with your food choices here unless you don't mind a good helping of oil with your meal; if it glistens, it's oily.
Read morePros: lots of veggie choices
Cons: a bit pricy, in a very noisy food court, oily
