Vegan delights, freshly made and perfectly portioned - Edit
We come here as many times as we can because the vegan dishes are just so wonderful. Chilli tofu as the soban. A perfectly thought out meal and side dishes. Pickles, miso, lotus, noodles.

Super clean and friendly. Everything is made fresh to order.

No longer veg - Edit
Was previously a vegetarian Korean restaurant but now have pork on the menu. Still vegan/vegetarian options clearly marked. Not sure if it has changed owners but food is not the same quality as previously & not as many dishes on the menu.

Authentic experience but soo salty with flavour enhancers - Edit
Being half Korean myself I was so excited to find a vego Korean restaurant, but I was disappointed by how extremely salty the tofu stew was - my thirst was unquenchable for the next 24hours and my mouth felt off from the unnatural flavour enhancers in the food, and I was so bloated which I’m not normally. If you’re sensitive to that stuff I would not recommend.

Beautiful food made with love - Edit
This restaurant was so good, we (my sons and I) had to return for a second visit during our 5 days in the Gold Coast. For anyone living in or visiting the Gold Coast, this is not to be missed.
Read moreWhile there are some similarities to Japanese culinary culture, especially in terms of immaculate and beautiful presentation, this was a unique flavour experience. Although the menu is relatively small, every dish was a delight, with deep, rich flavours and a clear differentiation amongst the dishes. The decor is humble and simple, yet beautiful (in a zen way), and it was spotlessly clean.
We had mandu, mushroom jeon, kimchi omelette rice, miso soup, soft tofu hot pot, curry rice and japchae, as well as a complimentary bowl of pickled cucumber.
Some dishes are not vegan (some included egg), but it's possible to order some of these (not including the kimchi omelette rice) without egg.
According to the friendly owner (the waitress was also very friendly and obliging), this is the only vegetarian Korean restaurant in Australia. That's such a pity! I wish someone would open one in Sydney! PLEASE! There must surely be a market for it.

Best Korean vegetarian in Gold Coast - Edit
Very nice place. Small restaurant. Good customer service. Very quick. Good food. Wholesome vegetarian food, with a lot of vegan options. Good to have a Korean vegetarian restaurant in Gold Coast, with good food, without worrying about the fish or shrimp paste, or oyster sauce, being added.

Blown Away! Food quality, flavour and portion size are brilliant! - Edit
Minari is a beautiful minimalist establishment with a clean menu that has something for everyone. My partner and I went last night. And I have to say, it’s an absolute treat to get a Korean-Japanese fusion place to offer vegan option (that is very hard to find with the use of fish typical to Korean cuisine). Food is packed with flavour and the staff were so attentive. Will definitely be a return customer.😄
