Very good flavours - Edit
We had some really nice vegan flavours here, although we didn’t enjoy everything on the plate, most things were very nice. Especially for me the flavour of the potatoes in my dish. The battered oyster mushroom was the best thing!

Nasi campur - Edit
Found this place without looking for it because of the big vegan sign while driving past and stopped. Well worth it, good local food at a good price with real vegan people.

My new favourite place in Ubud! - Edit
I’m so happy I found this place! It’s a local-style warung serving authentic Balinese food - all vegan and completely gluten-free, which is perfect for me. I had the Nasi Campur and it was amazing… a huge portion, bursting with flavour, and easily the best I’ve had in Bali so far. I loved the variety of flavours and textures, with no fake meats - just delicious tempeh, tofu, and jackfruit. The staff were lovely and my food arrived within minutes. Absolutely recommend if you want tasty, local food at a great price.

Minang style Nasi Campur - Edit
I had the red nasi campur (red rice with multiple dishes) and it was so delicious. Big portion for 40k. Definitely a must pit stop if you're in Ubud. Apparently they've recently just opened a new branch in SAYAN area, about a couple of weeks ago, but not registered on Happy Cow yet. It's called Vegan Food, and you'll find it on google Map (Vegan Food Sayan)

Very yummy food and excellent value for money - Edit
A small sit down warung on a busy road. We ordered Nasi Campur which was full of flavors with serving size more than I could eat. Would highly recommend this little place.

Very filling and affordable food - Edit
I went to this place in-person and also ordered food for delivery via Grab. If you want to save money, this place has very affordable food. I ordered a mee goreng and two coconuts all for IDR 61k. The average dish here seems to be around IDR 30k. There are three levels of spiciness and I ordered food with a spiciness level of 2/3, but the staff told me that this was very spicy and recommended 1/3 instead, which turned out to be very spicy. The food here is very filling and affordable. Curious about the name of the restaurant, it was also interesting to research afterwards about the Minangkabau people who are native to West Sumatra and are the largest matriarchal culture in the world.

Tasty Affordable Indonesian Comfort Food - Edit
Minang Vegan Warung offers a great spread of authentic Indonesian dishes made vegan. We tried a bit of everything, and for the price, it was an absolute bargain. The standouts were the tahu, fried shiitake and enoki mushrooms, and the mi goreng and bihun goreng—packed with flavour and truly satisfying. However, there was a lot of fried food in the mix, and the oiliness became a bit much after a while. Despite this, it’s a brilliant spot for affordable, authentic vegan Indonesian cuisine. Supporting a local vegan business like this is a real joy!

The best local food on Bali - Edit
We spent about a month nearby Ubud during our time in Indonesia and this was our go to place for incredibly tasty and cheap local food. We came by about every second day to get our fix of local goodies which definitely shows how much we liked their food. Their nasi campur is the best we had in all of Indonesia but we probably tried everything on their menu and loved it all. The staff is super friendly. Most of their dishes only cost between 15k and 35k Indonesian Rupees. Be sure to try their fried tempeh as well.

I eat here all the time. The nasi campur is unparalleled in vegan restos in Ubud, the food is tasty AF and extremely good value. Highly recommend. Only negatives are it's not particularly healthy and eating in is uncomfortable.

Good, local, affordable - Edit
Eating here is an immersion into local flavors, a point which I feel the previous commenter who complained about it being oily and salty has totally missed. This is not your raw plant-based health eatery for people with undiagnosed orthorexia. This is legitimate comfort food for vegans looking for good, affordable Indonesian food. If you're seeking raw plant-based food, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for an authentic experience here in Ubud, I recommend you try this.

Convenient for takeout - Edit
We ordered here twice because it's a convenient takeout option (it's available on grab). Portions and price are both good, but my partner and I agree that it's the saltiest (& among the greasiest) of meals we've had here, which means it's quite heavy on the stomach

Enjoyable - Edit
I enjoy the dishes though some of the fried could have a bit more flavour and maybe less oil, though its good when its mixed. The fried rice could use somebetter flavour rather than rely on spice. Overall would recommend. Cheap and tummy filler.

Great Indonesian cuisine, however don’t get the crushed tofu/oyster mushrooms, it’s deep fried and feels unhealthy.

Got sick - Edit
Good but probably won't order again. The Nasi Campur was interesting, there were few new things and tastes i liked. The fried noodles Mie Goreng were good too. But fried rice Nasi Goreng had taste of spices which we didn't fancy that much. Tahu tofu was missing some taste imho and it was very greasy. But overall I am glad we tried a bit different type of cusine than balinese. Unfortunately we got some stomach pain afterwards.
