Lovely vegan quiches

We tried two different quiches and and two cakes. Especially the salty pies were delicious, the other with vegan ham and bell pepper and the other with smoked carrot lox. This was a happy surprise for us, as it's rare to find a nice vegan quiche in cafes. The cakes were nice as well! A cozy small place with good service, highly recommended to visit!

Pros: Cozy interior, Delicious quiches

Cons: Slightly on the expensive side

Best in town

A cosy non-chain cafe offering also soup lunch Mon-Fri and occasionally brunch on Saturdays. Located about 0.5 km from the railway station, a must place to visit when in Tampere.

Nice cafe with almost everything being vegan

Nice coffee place that offers lunch. All the sweet and savoury pastries are vegan. The mushroom pie was great.

Great Vegan Bakery

Great bakery with so many vegan options. Soup of the day was very good, and it’s a nice place to sit and do work. A bit pricey, but overall really good.

Easy place for coffee/light lunch

Had lunch twice there. Second soup was not my favourite but I thought it to be worth the 10e price tag with the coffee, salad, soup and bread.

The vegan lihapiirakka (vihis) was nice and the cheesecake aswell.

Friendly service!

First Lihapiirakka in 7 years!!

I used to love pirogues as a kid, but since I became vegan 7 years ago I haven’t found good vegan options of the meat kind, until now! Def recommend this place.

Pros: Lots of vegan pastries and cakes, Cheap, All homemade

Cons: It is not accessible from where I live😒

Nothing special, the lunch is not worth of the money

I took the combo lunch (salad + soup). I have to say I was a bit disappointed about the taste and the quality. The salad was very boring, just lettuce with cucumber and tomato and vöner or cheese. I expected a bit more variable salad and also home made dressings.

The soup was ok but left space for better seasoning. Because the place is naming herself a bakery, I expected fresh, home made bread. But no.

Overall I would say the lunch was something you can make yourself in fifteen minutes and offered no big feeling nor taste memories. For 10€ you get much better lunch somewhere else.

Pros: Dog friendly, Pretty atmosphere

Cons: Boring salad, soup could have more taste, no fresh bread

Nice breakfast

I went there sometimes for brunch or coffee, now tried the breakfast for the first time. Liked it, recommend for hungry ones. Not for fresh/light food lovers (this may not be the optimal place for those anyway, but an excellent choice for lovers of sweet things, more fatty things, a bit more traditional Finnish "pulla"eaters, but vegan).
Porridge, fresh rolls and croissants, vegan cheese & some veggies, tasty spread, good coffee, muesli. It's all vegan now! Apparently changed since the first reviews here.

Pros: you can really fill your stomach. Tasty & nice!, Nice service, good value, good location, good opening hours

Cons: not that much fruit/fresh

You need to be there at the right time

There are many vegan options, but if you happen to get there outside of the lunch time, you just need to be happy with whatever is left and it will likely be a sandwich from the counter. Wish I tried it during lunch time.

Pros: vegan options readily available , easy to find

Cons: visit has to be timed well

Pretty setting

They had some vegan options available, but now after visiting a couple of times I still don't quite understand why people like this place so much, besides how cosy it looks. The vegan options (I've tried some buns and cookies) haven't been as good as I expected from them. Maybe I was there on the wrong days. The staff is friendly though and it sure is a pretty place!

Cozy place, great daily vegan options

Favourite place in town. Stylish but cozy, very friendly staff, awesome food. Vegan soup and salad lunches every day, vegan brunches on Saturdays. Lots of vegan cakes and pies.

Unfortunately the (questionable) system won't let me give five stars because it's not all-veggie place. Indeed they don't advertise themselves as vegan but I think it's good: omnivores are not scared away while still eating in fact mostly vegan. :)
