False advertising, bad food - Edit
I had some positive experiences at the old Milo in East Falls, despite some weird sauces and side dishes, so I was excited that they were opening up in Mt. Airy. The first THREE times I tried to go there for brunch, there was not a soul in sight and the doors were all locked. I tried calling multiple times with no answer and resorted to inquiring through an Instagram comment when they would be open according to the hours listed on their website. Instead of apologizing for the false information and clarifying when they would be open, they blocked me!
Read moreI did finally get over there for dinner and it was horribly disappointing. We sat outside at a wooden picnic bench that had bugs crawling all over it and waited forever for a disgusting baked reuben, greasy seitan fingers and a roasted beet “gnocchi” dish that was slathered in thick green sauce. If you are used to good vegan food like the kind you get at V Street, this is just embarrassing. It’s too bad because Mt. Airy is sorely in need of some good veg grub!
