Beware: The veggie burger patty is vegan, but the bun is not.

I see in the comments below that this is the most vegan friendly place. I disagree. I think the island has passed this place by. Most every place has a veggie burger now. One has the beyond burger. There are several places more vegan friendly.

Squishy vegan burger

The Sweet Potato and Quinoa burger sounded delicious. The flavor is great but the texture is very soft. The restaurant is lovely and feels very M Island-ey. They offer a delicious non alcoholic beer. I would try a salad next time

Pros: Ambiance, Good beverage selection

Cons: Burger texture wasn’t pleasant (for me), Limited vegan offerings

Veggie Burger Is Not Vegan

Heads up about the veggie burger referenced in earlier reviews. August 15, 2022, our server informed us that the sweet potato veggie burger has whey in it, in addition to there being butter on the bun. Not possible to make it vegan.
I ended up with a fruit kale salad that was fine.

I wanted to like the sweet potato burger, I really did.

It was a good try but the Indian seasonings just didn’t work with a hamburger, in my opinion. Other than the fried green beans, I didn’t see much on the menu for a vegan.

Nice Salad

I had the Urban Baby Kale salad, but should have picked the veg burger. The salad is kind of plain and not real creative, but did offer a good option and was fresh and good. The highlight here is the friendly staff!

Pros: Friendly staff, Good portion size

Cons: Expensive basic salad

Remember to ask for NO BUTTER!!

Great restaurant! A must when visiting the island. This was the only place I felt comfortable eating with a dairy allergy. Got the kale salad, which was as beautiful as it was delicious! Just remember to ask for no butter on the burger, I almost missed that from the previous comments.

Pros: Vegan options, Great atmosphere , Affordable price

Cons: No vegan desserts

Best food on the island

Very friendly wait staff. Ordered the sweet potato veggie burger, and wasn't disappointed. They also had a vegetarian veggie wrap special that just needed a couple changes to make vegan. If you plan on eating on the island, be sure to stop in here.

Pros: vegan options

Great Vegan Options!

This restaurant probably has the most vegan options on the island. We tried the sweet potato veggie burger (make sure to ask for it without butter on the bun!) and loved it. I also tried the Urban Baby Kale Blend, which had lots of greens, fruit, walnuts, and a delicious pomegranate vinaigrette. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Pros: Good location, Good value

Cons: Doesn't specify vegan on the menu

Awesome Sweet Potatoe Burger

I regret not taking a picture of this yummy burger. The patty is made from beans, sweet potatoe, and quinoa. I specified to our waitress not to add butter or cheese to anything even though cheese doesn't come on this burger anyway. It also comes with fries. Their truffle fries were on point 🤗

Pros: Vegan option

Cons: Vegan option not listed as vegan
