Inventive vegan menu

We booked a night away at this hotel purely on the look of the vegan menu posted on their website.

To begin with, the service was excellent - the staff were fully clued in on the menu and we were informed that the chef had gone plant-based for 6 weeks in order to research her vegan offerings.

The food at dinner was really, really good. Fresh, full of interesting flavours and well-balanced.
We had a celeriac and white onion soup with charred sourdough to start, then a Korean broccoli dish (I would say the flavour profile was more Middle-Eastern though), a warm sweet potato salad and some seasonal veg on the side. Dessert was poached pear with vegan icecream, and sorbets with edible flowers. All lovely, all beautifully plated.

Breakfast next morning had a few options, but we both went for the vegan fry which was grand. Service again was great - we had oat milk waiting for us on our table and our server talked us through the menu letting us know what could be made vegan.
