Nice Burgers - Edit
We've visited a few times and tried the burgers, which are nice, and vegan chicken stack, which we wrongly assumed would come in a bun! It is what it is, nice, but not the cheapest, but if you're in the area, you shouldn't leave hungry! We've also had a biscoff sundae, and they even label vegan drinks.

Cons: Not the cheapest

Ok if you're at the Premier Inn. Lots of pictures of beef everywhere, yuk! - Edit
We stayed at the Prem Inn on our way to Brighton. After a 4 hour drive, we just couldn't be bothered looking locally. Nothing on Happy Cow under 2 miles, but there is a Chinese and chippy just across the road. There's a cafe too, but nothing vegan on their menu. The choice was salad or vegan burger. The burger was pretty good. The only real ale was Doom Bar, far too cold and with bits in the bottom. But the big deal for me was all the pictures on the walls of beef cuts, steaks etc, loads of them. As a vegan it was really unpleasant, just had to keep looking away. Breakfast was the usual prem inn. But the breakfast they brought had meat sausages and real bacon, just sent it back. Had to ask for oat milk for the coffee, but they did have it.
Read moreSo, all kind of ok, but just too many meat references, absolutely everywhere, so unpleasant. I felt quite vystopian the whole time I sat there. It was a challenge being there, just far too "meaty". The Beefeater name says it all really. Struggled between a 1 or 2 star as a grade, but good service so a 2.
Staff were amazing, special gold star to them.
