That sounds like a miscommunication? Vegetarian options are labelled and allergens given on the menu. Even if all the (implicit) vegan options were not actually vegan somehow, there's still stuff like cucumber and avocado maki? I cant imagine how ar least those wouldnt be vegan?
Read moreNever underestimate how many people working in restaurants dont really know exactly what vegan means 🤷

Very welcoming - Edit
Cosy eating area. Very warm welcome from the staff. They were pretty fast, too.
Read moreDecent food at decent prices. Menu doesn’t indicate vegan options, but vegetarian ones are labelled and so are the allergens, so there’s some vegan options to choose from.

Decent food, good value 👍 - Edit
A lot of people seem to get their takeout here, which is a shame because the interior is actually quite nice! Lots of wooden furniture, and fairly new. Cute, colorful decorations. Usually pretty quiet inside, but never empty. The service is very quick.
Read moreMili (apparently a chinese translation for 'rice grain') offers a few vegan options on the menu, mostly relatively standard fare of asian fusion restaurants - noodle or rice dishes with veggies and tofu, gyoza, maki. My favourite is the veggie udon noodle soup. The food is good and the prices are comparatively low.
Vegan options are not explicitly marked, but mostly the same as the (marked) vegetarian options - so check the allergens.
Outside seating is available.
