Very cosy pub with vegan dishes on the menu - Edit
Potato skins with garlic & chilli dip as a starter and a vegan stew and burger as a main course, simple and delicious.

Vegan Sunday Lunch - Edit
Lovely little remote venue - we called ahead to check about vegan options for a Sunday roast, they made vegan cottage pie and served with potatoes, veg and gravy. They also offered a vegan curry. We were pleasantly surprised to find vegan fruit crumble on the menu and they also had vegan ice cream!
Read moreIn the field across the road from the pub there were cows, it was lovely to say hello to them and give them some grass (obviously I'd rather see cows free or at a rescue, but I like to talk to cows whenever I see them and apologize for what humans do to them).
Pros: Vegan options, Remote location with beautiful views outside, Friendly staff
Cons: Vegan roast didn't come with all the trimmings , Restaurant isn't fully vegan or vegetarian

Vegan burger - Edit
There was one vegan option which was a vegan burger and one veggie option which was a veggie burger. Both dishes looked exactly the same with a slightly different burger patty. No cheese / vegan cheese on either. We looked at the menu on their facebook page before visiting and were expecting more options but we were given a different, more limited menu, when we arrived. There were quorn nuggets as a small plates / kids option but no desserts unfortunately.

I had the quinoa and beetroot burger in pitta bread which was quite nice but about average. No dessert options.
