Nice brekkie

Had brunch here. Had the vegan full english breakfast. Was really nice other than the tofu scramble which was hard and dry, probably would have been nice fresh.

Delicious, delicate flavors

We had a great time in this fun, upbeat, open atmosphere eating delicious food! The buffalo wings were nice and crispy on the outside and the dip was really good. The gyoza sauce was sweet and tangy and so good, and the gyoza were nicely fried. The Sri Lankan curry had such a variety of flavors and came with a tomato sambal, which went really well with it. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Delicious, Great atmosphere, Lots of vegan options

Cons: Slightly pricey

My new favourite Mildreds!

I am a big fan of Mildreds and used to go to the Soho branch quite a bit before it started getting so busy that it was impossible to get a table! I recently went to the one in Camden, as you can book a table in advance, and was excited to try the one in Kings X. I took a couple of colleagues (non-vegans!) for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It is a really lovely space with atmospheric lighting and a variety of places to dine, including long canteen style tables. The food was delicious - I had the flat bread and rose hummus / baba ganoush to start, and the vegan burrito for main. My companions enjoyed the veggie burrito and the stir fry. The staff were lovely and more than happy for us to sit, sipping our drinks, for several hours and didn't once make us feel uncomfortable. I think this is my new favourite Mildreds!

Pros: The space, The food!, The staff!
