Mildreds, established since 1988 and reported vegan in May 2021, operates several restaurants in London. Its changing menu offers British classics as well fusion meals, with example dishes like mushroom pie, Indian curry, lentil burger, tortilla chips and gucamole, burger with fries, waffles, vegan brownie with ice cream. This branch is small and gets crowded at rush hour so expect a wait. Open Mon-Sat 09:00-23:00, Sun 09:00-22:00.

Consistently great

We have been dining here for many years and always enjoy it. Now being a fully vegan restaurant we can relax even more and order everything on the menu without checking. Win for the animals, win for us.

The service is always good and so is the food and drinks.

Make sure yo try this place when in town.

Pro tip: Leave room for desert, omg, so delicious.

Best pancake ever

Excellent generous and indulgent pancakes. Amazing taste really.
The almuerzo brunch was also really good.

Unique tasty menu

I really liked the menu here, lots of unique, delicious options

Staff were great.

A 12.5% service charge is added to the bill so keep that in mind as the place I'd a bit pricey.

Good food, loud place

We stopped by here for dinner and luckily there was a spot left for 2. The food was very nice, service was quick but the restaurant itself was very loud because it was so full of tables and people.

Absolutely delicious food!

We've known Mildred's for years and food has always been excellent!
It's now turned full vegan.
We've never been disappointed by Mildred's, from the sides to the desserts, everything is so tasty and good!
Also, the staff is very careful about customers' allergies.
Highly recommanded!

Lovely food

Not as good as it used to be

Used to love this place, but was a bit disappointed last time I went. Prices have gone up, selection down, they really hustled us when it came to ordering. Didn’t feel as relaxed, exciting, or charming as it was pre-covid.

Pros: All vegan, Good quality, Takes reservations now

Cons: More expensive than it used to be, Service made us feel hustled and uninvited

Best Vegan meal in London

Saved the best for last- a friend took me here after a visit to the National Gallery and I was really impressed with the fresh flavors of the food. The main floor was busy but we sat on the upper floor which was quieter but still attentive service. We tried the recommended fresh tomato salad, soba meatball dish and “chickin” skewers with courgettes and orzo. Finished with a flat white with oat milk and chocolate crown shaped truffles

Welcoming and delicious

I had the chik'n kebabs and crème brûlée. Both were excellent. The staff were kind and welcoming. The menu overall is very appealing, with many different flavors from which to choose.

The best vegan place in London

Food was excellent, service was friendly. All the dishes were so different and amazing. Nothing I would ever know how to cook at home so it felt like a real treat. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very nice and relaxing

Healthy options

I could tell they put care into their dishes. The salad I got was excellent. The service was great. They have multiple locations. Be sure to check out Mildred’s if you’re vegan in London.

Tasty modern vegan food

Mildreds focuses on fresh ingredients and imaginative dishes. Food is healthy and delicious. The prices really aren't too high either for this type of cuisine.
The restaurant itself feels very crowded. They really pack you in like sardines, and the resulting acoustics are not very fun. I had a great time but if there's a particularly noisy table I can imagine it being less pleasant.
That's my only complaint though. It's a great place.

Nice easy vegan option in Soho

Come here for consistently great vegan food; we enjoyed the Mexican brunch and bloody marys, both really good. The service is fine, quick and pretty transactional.

Upscale vegan dining

Mock tail with cbd-apple-pear-tea was superb. “Small plates” of hummus with pita, tortolleni with cream, beet dish, and gyoza. All delicious. Entree was noodles with crispy tofu and bok choy and cold “meatballs”…that was the only odd thing. Dessert of sticky toffee pudding was great. Service fantastic and music and ambience perfect.

Pros: All vegan , Desserts great, Reasonable prices for high end vegan

Great for vegans and vegan curious

Great food and ambience, a little pricey but expected for central London. I think it’s particularly good for vegans to bring non-vegan or vegan-curious friends too😄drinks are also lovely. Looking forward to going again. Would make a good date night spot.

Amazing

Was looking for a vegan restaurant for some small plates and wine after as busy day out - Mildreds was the perfect choice. Had a range of plates including: Hummus, olives, nachos and patatas bravas all of which were really tasty. The main dishes also looked excellent - will be back to try them soon!

Pros: Amazing range of small plates, Well labelled allergens , Great atmosphere

Cons: You have to pay for bread separately for hummus
