Mildred’s CG - Edit
This is a really nice location in Covent Garden. Overall, Mildred’s is a safe bet if you’re in the area. As others have said, the food is good, but it’s not overly impressive. We very much liked the tofu and the vegan sausage in the full English, but it felt like the rest of the dish had more potential. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was fine to eat once, but we likely would not order it again.

We had chosen four different dishes, all good. We liked the Alma bowl and Kiri hodi the best. For dessert we had a ‘Snickers bar’, which was a bit too intense and the crème brulee, which was really good.

We were quite disappointed. The menu hasn’t charged much. The rice was a bit unpleasant and soms flavours a bit bland.

Sensational - Edit
Tried the arancini Rossi starter which was a flavour sensation, the mushroom and ale pot pie was delicious very rich filling! And the white chocolate mousse tiramisu dessert was the perfect round off to a phenomenal meal. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere inside, amazing to see a vegan restaurant so busy and full! I’ve been wanting to try it here for years and glad I’ve finally had the chance. I’ll be back!

Such a cute and cosy spot with lots of seating both upstairs and downstairs. The menu offers great variety, and reasonable prices for London.
Read moreI dined here with my mum and we both got a chicken burger (the Korean for me and the glazed brown sugar for her) Both were delicious! I have to say though that I didn’t realise until after eating that each burger was almost 2000 calories 😅 still, we enjoyed it very much.
The place was full when we visited which speaks volumes for the quality of the food and service here. Would definitely visit again.

The food was amazing - we had the coconut curry and the Korean chick’n burger. The kimchi was really hot, but the rest was just great. The desserts were even nicer - the creme brûlée was particularly good.

Their cocktails and drinks are absolutely delicious! I tried their kimchi burger and honestly was not super impressed, although their menu is full of unique meals and super varied which I loved! I found the burger a little uninteresting, however I will definitely be back to try something new!

Love Mildred’s - Edit
I love Mildred’s and have been to all their restaurants in London. Hadn’t been to the Covent Garden branch though and it didn’t disappoint! Food was delicious and reasonably priced and staff were friendly and attentive . Didn’t manage to take photos of the food as we gobbled it down ( I had the tofu main and the chocolate ganache for dessert which were both so tasty ) but did take photos of our cocktails which were delicious!

It’s always a good sign when the place is packed, with a queue in the foyer! So glad we booked a table. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was quick and friendly. We both ordered the Kimchi rice with Tofu (can’t remember the name of the dish) and we loved the combination of flavours and textures and the freshness of the ingredients. Packed- line out the door! This place is very popular, maybe because so many London restaurants are closed on the weekends (how?! My US sensibilities are so confused). Staff are really nice, despite what must be a very stressful work environment.

I thought I knew a solid amount about global cuisine, but the menu had a ton of words I didn’t know, which is how I ended up with some sort of greasy cheesy/bready entree ☹️ None of those adjectives delight me. I still don’t know what my dessert was, except that it was colorful and involved coconut. It all tasted fine, and maybe it’s because I was walking so much I barely got bloated from it. Still hoping I can find safer food tomorrow.

Lovely food, confusing location - Edit
The food was delicious although the portions were a bit small (rice to main ratio). The location was confusing as there are a few Mildred's within close proximity so be sure to send the correct address to large parties. It was typical London pricing so be mindful of that and the tables were a bit close together so be wary if going with larger people. Otherwise the food was worth it #Veganuary
