Expensive pizza, nice ambiance - Edit
It’s nice that they have vegan cheese as others mentioned and the ambiance is nice. Great place to grab a glass of wine and have a pizza before a movie.
Read moreThe pizza is overpriced for what it is, small size and lots of vegan modification upcharge. I used to go here more often since there’s it’s the one of the most vegan friendly in Hillsdale mall, but now I feel that it’s not worth it.

Great food and Atmosphere - Edit
Found this place on Happy Cow app, and while few items on menu are vegan, staff gladly modified vegetarian pizza and house salad by removing cheese for a true vegan delight. Waitress was friendly, helpful and more than accommodating. Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Even the men's room has its own style, clean and chic.

Vegan Pizza with Substitutions - Edit
Its not on the menu but they have vegan cheese and sausages and were really nice about modifying pizzas for us. Just watch out because they charge for any “substitutions”. The pizza dough is SO GOOD! The crust tastes like you’re eating a good breadstick. We also had some of the truffle/garlic fries and they were also good.

Second visit to Midici and I’m really pleased with the gluten free options. They’ll make a gluten free version of the menu. Today I ordered garlic bread & Vegetarian pizza ( both gluten free ) I love this place.

Great pizza and drinks at Hillsdale mall - Edit
Their vegan cheese is delicious and the sausage option is great too. You can customize any pizza or build your own. They had a special pizza with sausage and veggies that I was able to veganize. The bruschetta is also vegan and great! The server was knowledgeable and helpful about the vegan options as well.

Best vegan pizza in the Peninsula - Edit
Not entirely vegan but the owners truly care about providing exceptional vegan pizza. Vegan crust, cheese and sausage are always available, plus all the classic veggies, and even a few vegan desserts. It's also very family friendly and they have many beer and wine options, an outdoor patio with heaters, and live jazz on Thursdays. Must visit if you're in San Mateo!
