Community cafe - Edit
Not only a cafe but also a community venue, I have visited for the art exhibition openings, clothes swap, live music before Christmas, creative dance+food performances and other community events. New management as of 2023 have revitalised and brought a lovely vibe to it. Ask for menu options which include seasonal food from local community farm and other local growers.

Disappointing lack of options - Edit
Really all they had was a cheese and salad sandwich minus the cheese, or the veggie breakfast minus the egg.
Read moreThey had no chilli and worst of all (as it happened to be my birthday) zero vegan cake options except a plain scone! This made me sad!
In the end all we had was an oat milk hot chocolate - which to be fair was lovely.

Amazing find in a small village - Edit
A great local cafe with a couple of vegan options clearly labelled on the menu. It's worth telling the waitress you're vegan as there may be a suitable daily special too like a curry. Also, cake choices vary so staff can inform you what they have that day.
Read moreCloughjordan isn't an area I would be in often at all but the cafe is great and hope to visit again in the future.
