A must visit

Omg I cannot say enough things about this place.
Advice, Do not get set menu, try individual items that you want to try it will cost you less.
I’d definitely recommend their truffle dumplings. You have to try it. It was my favorite and I could eat 100 of those.
The staffs were incredible and spoke English, and menu is in Chinese and English so, you will have no problem.

Pros: The food, Pricing , Atmosphere

Interesting menu

Expensive for China but very cheap for a michelin star restaurant. Lovely setting, clean, tasty. Some menu items contain eggs or dairy

Go, go, go!

Amazing Michelin food for a very reasonable price (45 euro for a tasting menu). I’m only sad I waited with going here to my last day. Otherwise I had surely gone twice.
Super charming place too! Go!!

Probably my only chance for 'fine dining'

Very nice place. Very expensive for China but about average price for a meal out in a nice restaurant in the UK.

Pros: Great service, Beautifully presented food, English speaking staff

Cons: Pricey

Vegetarian Fine Dining

An enjoyable experience, and a pretty unique one given how few purely vegetarian Michelin star restaurants there are in the world.

Although there is a tasting menu costing 498 rmb for two, we decided to order a number of dishes from the a la carte menu so we could try a wider variety of dishes, and because they were actually very reasonably priced. For 4 of us we only spent around 700 rmb for 8-9 dishes, and had plenty to eat.

Service was excellent and the setting was very relaxed. We had no trouble at all getting a table last minute. In fact it was barely half full on a Saturday night.

The food was good but not superlative. For a Michelin meal it's great value but I'd say we ate better meals in China for less. It's definitely worth going though, just for the high end dining experience.

There is also afternoon tea available.

Pros: One of very few vegetarian Michelin restaurants , Affordable as a fine dining experience , Great setting

Cons: Good food but we had better for less

Unique and peaceful experience

Has a Michelin star. Work with a farm who provides the fresh seasonal ingredients. As you’d expect the dishes are quite creative, good service, and the food is tasty. This kind of experience is rare in China so it’s definitely something I would recommend. I went twice during my week-long Chengdu trip.

Set menu costs ~750 for 2 people, but I found it much better to order just the dishes I wanted and that added up to ~350 for 2. So I advise to not get the set menu.

Located in a big mall area but it’s a peaceful area surrounded by bamboo so you don’t feel the crowds much. Ambiance is nice, good music selection, service is rly good

Pros: Service, Creativity, Setting

Thoughtful veg food w/ excellent service ($$$)

So I’ve now been there twice during my stay in Chengdu, since it is relatively close to Chunxi Road metro and where I’m staying. It’s basically within a giant shopping mall (Taikoo Li), so maybe not the most interesting location, depending on what your into. That said the restaurant is at one seemingly less-trafficked end of the mall and the ambience and decor of the restaurant are beautiful. As other reviews mentioned, for China it is quite expensive. I ordered the prix fixe menu for 1 on my first visit; that, plus a pot of black tea (88RMB) was close to 300RMB. (They also had a prix fixe option for 2.) But, I’m on vacation and there were several courses. One of the hot dishes has what tasted like pretty big chunks of black truffle. The ingredients were really high quality and everything seemed thoughtfully made. The second time, I wasn’t so hungry, so I just ordered dumplings a la carte. For 32RMB you get two larger steamed dumplings, which in China may seem pretty extravagant. But on eating one order of each kind, it was pretty clear they were gourmet quality. Again, one of them used black truffles. In the US, I would expect to pay at least this much. 4 dumplings was enough for a light dinner. Not a great option for a quick, cheap meal, but if you want a chill, thoughtfully-prepared meal with plenty of time to enjoy several pots of tea in a gorgeous and relaxing environment, I definitely recommend.

Pros: Lots of vegan options (most of menu), Clear menu (egg/dairy marked) w/ English, Quality of food & service

Cons: Pricy

Pretty environment, boring food

The food was only ok, though well presented and in a nice ambiance. I did the prix fixe, and the main course, dandan noodles, was simple street food. Not worth the price. But nothing bad about it.

Upscale tea house

They're in an outside shopping plaza. They have English menus that note which items have dairy and egg. Some English spoken and they're super nice. This is not as formal of a tea house as Wistaria in Taipei, but it's pretty similar. Don't really on this place for full meals. It's snack food appropriate for tea.

Pros: Mostly vegan.

Cons: The placement on google maps is off. Its actually , Behind the big grey brick building called, Temple House.

Delicious food in little tea house

Delicious healthy food in the tea house attached to the Mi Xun spa of Temple House. Perhaps my favourite place in Chengdu!

Pros: Full vegan menu, Tea selection , Relaxing tea house
