Excellent vegan selection - Edit
When you arrive, be sure to ask your server for their vegan menu. It includes a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the flavor of their soy chorizo tamales.

good restaurant, great vegan mexican options - Edit
As far as Mexican restaurants go, I like this one because it's not loud and it doesn't smell like burning animal flesh. I'm just not into those things, and they've very common. Furthermore, the decoration is nice and seating is always quick.
As far as vegan options, they have a full menu all days of the week you can order from that has lots of tasty dishes. The buffet on Friday nights is where it is at in my opinion though! Victor brings something new every week, including awesome tres leches and empanadas. Great selection, great value. There is also a good Groupon right now.

Vegan menu is outstanding, and even better is the vegan buffet every Friday night! They have so much food, and it is all 100% vegan. The menu and buffet was started by PETA's 2015 "Sexiest Vegan Next Door" - Victor, who is very active in the Salt Lake City Vegan scene (and tri-lingual in English, Spanish and ASL). He has been at the restaurant every Friday night helping out and making sure everything goes smoothly. This is one of my favorite places for a good vegan meal now!

best full vegan buffet - Edit
The full vegan buffet is amazing Friday nights! The whole buffet is vegan! It's a family owned restaurant and the food is all "home-made" I highly recommend the buffet on Friday nights if you want some amazing Mexican food! Oh and the tortillas are made on the spot! Taco soup is so amazing! The guacamole is fresh as ever! Rice and beans are amazing
