They pretend to be vegan friendly but it just means you pay for them to remove the meat

They don’t allow substitutions so prepare to pay for their BS
No splitting the check

The vegan option is called Pendejada.
Look it up. They hate vegans

Pros: You can cobble together a meal but, You pay through the nose

Everything is Delicious

I have been dining here for years so I have probably tried everything multiple times but the Flautas are my favorite. Very filling without being heavy.

I love the chips and guacamole, always freshly made so the flavors pop. I only occasionally get a cocktail but today we tried the Sangre Maya and it was fantastic.

Prices are a touch higher but at the coast that is always expected. The place is wonderfully clean and well-decorated, staff are very courteous.

Pros: Lots of Options, Very Clean, Great Staff

Cons: A Little Pricey

Nuts not disclosed in the mole

The food was very pricey for the overall quality of the meal. our server was very sweet, but unfortunately we had a negative experience.

my partner has a mild peanut allergy, not something we normally have to disclose because it isn’t severe or a cross contamination issue, we just avoid ordering any menu items with peanuts. in my experience, items containing nuts have always been clearly marked as an allergen. I’ve also had mole that does not contain peanuts in the past so i wasn’t aware it can sometimes be an ingredient.

The mole contained peanuts which caused a reaction. we left to deal with the reaction. i called back to notify them about our experience and they did not seem to care at all. we weren’t particularly upset about the mix up before the phone call, but the way that i was spoken to made the all the difference.

$92 down the drain for chips and guac, a split entree, and a margarita with tip. do not recommend at all!

Lots of options

Lots of vegan options. I had the mole dish and chips and salsa. Staff was helpful, most items could be made vegan. Chips and salsa were nice and fresh. One of the best meals on our vacation.

It is expensive.

Pros: Lots of items can be made vegan, Lots of flavor

Cons: expensive

Delicious, several vegan options

The food at Mi Corazon is very fresh and all organic. Everything is made to order. We got the chips and salsa. Expensive at $15? Yes. Worth it. We got the enchilada rojas and the mole. I only dipped my fork in the mole (cinnamon makes my face swell up), but it was delicious. The enchiladas were delicious as well and were served with a nice salad, fresh carrots (lightly pickled?) and some sautéed potatoes. The items that can be made vegan are clearly marked. The waitstaff is very nice. The tab was $100 before taxes and tip (no alcohol). Sometimes you get what you pay for. Would I eat here again. Without question, yes.

Pros: Clearly marked items that can be made vegan, Nice waitstaff, Delicious fresh, organic food

Amazing but so expensive

I got the enchiladas Rojas (made vegan and GF) and honestly the flavors were amazing. HOWEVER, it was $40!!!! I really wanted chips and salsa as an appetizer and that was $15. My jaw fell to the floor. Items aren’t labeled great but the staff know what’s vegan and GF.

Pros: Excellent taste, Nice atmosphere , Gf options

Cons: SO EXPENSIVEEEEE

Where to start

I don’t get this place. I ordered the mole dish the one on the right side of the menu, about 35 bucks. So they remove the chicken and put tofu and some veggies and charge $5 bucks. It was good but I’ve never paid that much money at a Mexican food restaurant😳
Chips and salsa $15 bucks. Every thing was tasty but wow, so expensive.

We stopped by earlier in the afternoon to find out if vegan options were possible. They have about 60% of the menu available vegan, clearly labeled! If you like vegan cheeses, they have included that ( I don’t). I got to enjoy mole for the first time since becoming WHPB no oil 2.5 years ago. And both their blackberry and jalapeño margaritas were great.

Pros: Many choices clearly labeled, Careful to inform you about vegan cheeses , Great vegan margaritas

$5 vegan surcharge. Small portions. Not knowledgeable staff

I went there. The lady next to me asked how big the $20 nacho plate was ($25 after the vegan surcharge) and the server answer was that it was pretty small. The $5 vegan surcharge was upsetting and then that. I left the restaurant before ordering. It’s 2023. There is no reason that a place needs to charge more for tofu and veggies.

Maybe the BEST burrito EVER!!

Everything was clearly marked and our waitress was wonderful. We had the Wet Burritos vegan option with salsa verde. I truly thought these were the best burritos I have ever eaten anywhere. All of the ingredients were really fresh and the chips and guac with different salsas were definitely homemade. This place is a hidden gem and I would definitely eat there again.

Pros: Excellent very flavorful food, Excellent service, Fresh ingredients

Cons: NONE

Good food, $5 charge on anything vegan

We stopped in town on a tour from Portland. We were happy to find a nice place to sit down for lunch that had vegan options. Like other reviewers note, it was disappointing to see a $5 charge on everything ordered vegan.
With that said, the food was good and they did offer vegan cheese which a lot of places don’t.

Higher end and very tasty but not a fan of the vegan "tax"

While $27 for a vegan salad is high, the salad was very good with lots of marinated tofu and veggies.
The non vegan had the $19 burrito and said it was good.
Not a weekly hang out, but a great choice when craving Mexican close by

However, the vegan "tax" is outrageous. The prices are already super high.

Pros: Vegan option (at a steep price), Good food, Super nice staff

Cons: Expensive, Vegan “tax”

Delicious, Delicate

Light and art-filled dining room is lovely. Music is a bit loud, but not out of the norm. Vegan tacos were delicious! They fell apart so thoroughly, though, that I used knife and fork to eat them. Next time I'll ask for double tortillas!

Pros: Really delicious

Cons: Tacos fall apart - ask for double tortillas

$5 vegan charge per dish

Very overpriced! For every dish you request to be vegan there is a $5 charge on top of the overpriced dishes. Also each person must spend a minimum of $35. Food was okay and they have vegan options in a town that lacks vegan options. I would not go here again if I could do it over again.

Cons: Expensive , Extra charge for vegan dishes

Not impressed.

The only place in all of CB that even has tofu and they have a misc $ 5 ‘vegan charge’ to sub all of their meat dishes to tofu. Wtf? Tofu is cheaper than meat. This place is already the most expensive place in town and I just don’t get why they would make me buy the chicken price and add five more dollars to switch it out for tofu. We left. Not cool

Five-star vegan food

What a remarkable find! The Oregon Coast can be a tough for vegans; most menus have one thing that works if they takeout a few ingredients. At Mi Corazón nearly everything could be made vegan. Everything we ordered was delicious, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented and awesome service. I’m already looking forward to going back.

Pros: Delicious options, Beautiful atmosphere

Lots of vegan options

This restaurant probably has the most vegan options of any place in Cannon Beach. Items are marked on menu. We sampled three dishes and all were good. Did not have a margarita but saw some and they also looked amazing.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Dishes were flavorful and made from scratch , Cute, eclectic and inclusive atmosphere

Surprisingly good Mexican

This is a traditional Mexican restaurant which can veganize almost everything. We enjoyed the mole, on vegetables and tofu instead of chicken.
There's a $35. minimum per person and $5. premium for veganizing a meal.

Pros: Traditional Mexican dishes veganized, Homemade corn tortillas

Cons: Expensive in a pricey town

Expensive but good!

This place is a bit pricey but we had a good lunch and appreciated the ambiance and kind staff. For some reason the menu says there’s “a $5 up charge for vegan” but it doesn’t seem like they’re actually giving you anything for the $5, so I just ordered a vegetarian entree “without cheese” and wasn’t charged extra.

Good food and drink but expensive

I was happy to get a good vegan dinner with great margaritas .
But five dollar up charge is stupid.
For my five dollars I got about 50 cents worth of tofu in my fajita.

Pros: No problem vegan food. Margaritas

Adorable atmosphere

This place is adorable, the art is so beautiful. I would come here to just to gaze at all the art and glasswork in this place. The staff are very sweet. The menu is labeled with vegan customizations so you know what can be made vegan. The food was good, everything has that homemade touch. The one downside is that it is expensive. They charge $5 per dish to make it vegan. But the vegan desert which is chocolate truffle with raspberry is seriously one of the best things I’ve eaten. Overall, it’s delicious, great atmosphere but expensive.

Pros: Lots of art, Good food , Nice staff

Cons: Expensive

Tasty Mexican with Lots of Options

We went in today for lunch and had chips and salsa (the chips are sooo good), the taco plate, and the Mexican sandwich. All were super flavourful and full of veggies, tofu, and vegan cheese. The green salsa was mild but very tasty. One of the best lunches we've had in Oregon, but was quite expensive (we paid $55 for one portion of chips and then two mains)

Pros: Lots of options for vegans, Everything tasted amazing

Cons: $5 up-charge to make a dish vegan, Quite expensive

We thought it was decent!

Most things can be made vegan which is nice with a $5 up charge. I decided just not get cheese and keep the veggies because the prices were kinda expensive. I got the tacos and they don’t give you a lot of beans. Everything tasted pretty good

Very tasty veganizable menu

Excellent food. Absolutely delicious. It would get five stars, but they charge $5 per plate to veganize, making it very expensive.
Tofu or veggies can replace meat in almost all dishes. They also replace dairy cheese for vegan.
Their refried beans are vegan.

Pros: Very delicious

Cons: Expensive
