There are two burrito options that you can order vegan. The owner personally explains the menu and the selection of sauces. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. It was the best burrito I've ever had, so definitely try it!

I had the veggie burrito and thought it was great! I liked the ratio of vegetables to rice. The staff spoke English and explained what was vegan (just omit the cheese and sour cream, and of the 5 sauces other than the honey mustard and aoili they are vegan). It's 145 pesos unless you add something like avocado, which I think is a fair price for Bacalar.

The people are super friendly. They knew what vegan was and pointed to the items that could be made vegan. The burrito was delicious. I got the Guadalupano burrito with added avocado. My only hang-up and the reason I gave it 3 stars and not 4 is because I felt like it was pretty expensive. Maybe I’m biased because of the giant burritos we get in the US but the burrito here wasn’t very big for 185 pesos. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you think I’m wrong.

There was one vegan option, but they have lots of different salsas that you can add to make it more individual. The owner (?) showed us to a table and took our order, which I didn’t expect for a food truck! Really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend! #Veganuary

Owner was super nice. They have 1 vegan option (burrito with vegetables) it was nice, quite heavy but filling. Would have been perfect if it had beans etc for protein. Salsas were amazing and most of them were vegan.

I had the burrito bowl with cheese and cream and it was delicious! You can also opt for a vegan version and they offer you really good sauces for free. Our server was really nice and made our night! Would recommend :)

Cool food truck with some picnic tables outside. The server was very knowledgeable about vegan options and ensured the vegetarian burrito we ordered was made correctly and recommended that we add avocado and peanuts. What really made this place stand out was their sauce offering that they bring to the table. They wrap their burritos in leaves instead of aluminum foil to help with sustainability

Amazing Vegan Burrito! - Edit
We came here twice in Bacalar. Right by the good public docks with cute outside seating. Yummy burritos, amazing homemade sauces and Natalie the owner was lovely. She presses the burrito in banana leaves and the are crunchy, but soft, and stay together while you eat them!
