Est. 1994, Mezzaluna is a vegan and organic restaurant located in a charming historic building, in a city center square known for its vibrant nightlife. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu consisting of rich courses cooked fresh to order, including housemade stuffed pasta, organic wines, beers and juices. Local dishes made vegan! - Edit
I really like that they have rivisted local dishes and made a vegan tasty version of them. I've tried insalata russa which was simply amazing. It was very flavourful, creamy but not too heavy for digestion. I've also tried the ravioli del plin, handmade and filled with cashew cheese, walnuts and tyme. Really, really tasty. Portions are generous. They also make homemade kombucha, incredible!. Staff is friendly, location is nice! Highly recommend when in Torino.

We had the Antipasto Piemonte to start with and then the Agnolotti and the Cannelloni di grano saraceno and all dishes were fantastic - and really something you would absolutely not get at a non vegan place. If you want to experience the local cuisine as a vegan, this is the place to go!

Gorgeous food, friendly staff - Edit
We (two parents, two young adult children who are very fussy eaters) all hugely enjoyed our meal at Mezzaluna. I particularly liked the vegan take on traditional dishes as I hate the way that being vegan can mean eating bread, hummus, chips and salad everywhere you go!

Felt like my mom's cooking if she was vegan - Edit
I really enjoy the food experience there as some meal reminded me things I used to eat in the 90's in terms of savoury and way to cook. It's really unique and I never had such vegan experience anywhere so far. Definitely a place to try if you are around in Turino! I was full before the end of the second course and could not give a try to the desserts, but they looked tasty!

Service very good. Loved the mixed appetizer plate we had. Really delicious and wished we’d ordered one each - that would have been a good meal. We ordered the gnocchi and the teriyaki mushrooms and seitan. The gnocchi was too smooth and mushy and too much of the same texture. The seitan was good though it too would have been more enjoyable if it was a smaller portion with a side vegetable or salad .

Sono stata qualche giorno fa a cena, durante le mie vacanze. Personale gentilissimo e cibo buonissimo. Personalmente ho preso i cannelloni che erano fantastici. Il locale è molto carino. Io sono stata con un'amica onnivora che ha apprezzato molto. Lo consigliamente caldamente. Se abitassi a Torino ci andrei molto spesso!

Siamo stati ieri in questo locale, volevamo già provarlo da un po'. La scelta è ampia, sicuramente potete trovare quello che fa al caso vostro. Noi abbiamo scelto i seguenti piatti: carbonara e gnocchi come primi e tempeh con funghi e rosti e tofu affumicato in wok con verdure come secondi. Mi sono piaciuti di più i secondi, ma anche i primi non erano male (toglierei solo il prezzemolo dalla carbonara, mio gusto personale).

In totale abbiamo speso 70 euro considerando anche un acqua e un caffè. Secondo me il prezzo e le porzioni sono adeguate. Metto anche le foto come ulteriore feedback.

Adoro il concept che c’è dietro ed ammiro il fatto che il menù sia interamente vegano. Quello che mi piace di più in un posto totalmente vegano è il non trovarmi in difficoltà nello scegliere le varie portate e senza stare con “l’ansia” di scegliere delle bibite o alimenti che possano contenere tracce non vegan. Ci sono svariate alternative, tra antipasti, primi e secondi. Abbiamo preso il tagliere di formaggi poiché mi ispirava, l’unica nota leggermente negativa è che consumando quotidianamente dei formaggi di mandorino trovarli nel tagliere non è stata un’esperienza nuova, bensì un gusto già conosciuto, stessa nota per i salumi. Apprezzo che alcune portate fossero fatte a mano, come immagino lo siano la pasta fresca e i dolci. Tutto sommato il posto merita e lo consiglio vivamente e tutti.

Completely vegan menu, showcasing a mix of traditional dishes as well as some international ones. The options we tried were superb, particularly the gnocchi and the plin agnolotti. The dessert was also mesmerising. Only constructive note: for the main course, we would have loved a slightly bigger portion.
