In theory, vegan options . In practice, not all kitchen personnel knows what that means. Craft beer, outdoor seating. - Edit
Would consider it $$. First time I went three years ago, it was great, very tasty. Staff knowledgeable and the clearly labeled vegan options available.
Read moreLast time, the cook did not know, what vegan means and wanted to put dairy cheese in my empanada. The waitress said, that the labeled options could be made vegetarian, not vegan (that's not what the menu says, in both, Spanish and English it says vegan). I ended up having an overpriced pizza without cheese.
I know, availability of ingredients can be tricky in Loreto. But if your menu gives vegan options, it would be good if the kitchen staff actually knew what that means. A simple, I'm sorry, we're out of vegan cheese, I totally understand. But making me feel bad about asking for something that's on their menu, when that was the reason I went there, wasn't really something that made me excited to go back.

No labelled vegan but will somewhat accommodate - Edit
There are a number of items marked V, including one with chicken. 😆 They have vegan cheese that they will swap for dairy cheese, but it is really not clear if the sauces or pizza crust are vegan. We had a mediocre pizza, very good gnocchi, and my hubs tried one of the vegetarian empanadas and said it was really good.

One of my favorite spots in Baja - Edit
One of my favorite places in Baja so far. I've been there about 3 times and will go back again before leaving Baja ! Even brought friends who also loved it and went many times. If you're vegan and you're craving pizza ... this is the spot ! They also have many other Italian options that can be made vegan too like pastas, etc.
Read moreI've tried several of their pizza options and all of them have been so delicious and very filling given the size.
My husband whose not vegan really enjoyed their empanadas. He's tried both their pepperoni empanadas and their salami. And he can't stop talking about how good they are. I wanted to try one of their empanadas that can be made vegan, but they didn't have them. Bummer ! Next time for sure. The pizza was more than enough for me tho !
The staff is very friendly. Drinks are slightly overpriced (especially for beer) but the house margaritas are only about $6USD. I will be back !! I’d give this 5 stars if HappyCow would let me !
Pros: Many vegan options
Cons: Drinks can be expensive

Tasty, high quality - Edit
Had the vegan lasagne, but they had to substitute tofu, because as of mid-December 2021 they were out of vegan cheese. They said they have not be able to find any for a reasonable price for at least a month and that they have many customers asking for it. The lasagne with tofu was very tasty and filling (see photo). They have some good salads that they can add tofu. Since they were out of vegan cheese, they offered to make the pizza without it, but I thought better to get the lasagne with tofu, sounded better because at least had vegan protein. They also have nice raised street corner outside seating and a handsome interior seating area as well. The servers clearly understand what vegan means and are bi-lingual. UPDATE: I stopped by there today and they said last night a truck arrived from La Paz with loads of new vegan cheese. So now you can get vegan cheese with various dishes!

Great option - Edit
A friendly place with a few vegan options: pizza, pasta, salad. They have vegan cheese and can swap into most dishes. The salads are great, big and fresh. We tried both the tofu and the artichoke salads. The penne arrabiata was actually good. And the margaritas are great.

Good vegan options! - Edit
Honestly this place is surprisingly good. The salad was huge and fresh and the food was prepared quickly. Not the best pizza ever but it was nice that they had vegan cheese and it was tasty.

Grateful to find a vegan friendly spot! - Edit
Such a great find in this small little town! The vegan options were clearly marked on their menu and they even offer house-made vegan cheeses! We got the eggplant empanada and the olive and cheese empanada and both were delicious with their homemade dough cooked in their special clay oven. Try their smoothies as well! Super fresh with no added sugar or juices!

Great variety! - Edit
They have vegan cheese ! So you can pretty much mix and match, my sister had the vegan lasagna it was delicious, I had a vegan pizza, the pizzas are not traditional they are “Uruguayan style” whatever that means but they are quite small so expect to accompany it with starters or a pasta plate. Also they had a huge selection of beers and spirits from all over the world, literally.

Decent pizza and calzones - Edit
The vegan pizzas were pretty good. They even had vegan cheese!
Read moreThe empanadas were more like calzones but you might expect that at an Italian restaurant. The waiter said they were small so I ordered three but two would've been plenty.
We wouldn't call this food the best we've ever had but if you're starting to get tired of rice and beans or cooking your own food it really hit the spot.
Pros: Vegan cheese for the pizza, Centrally located
Cons: Pretty good but nothing spectacular
