Eat here! - Edit
Fast, fresh, cheaper, and vegan options are easy to find! The falafel in a blanket was filling but a little messy. They have a rewards program too. Save money and just eat here. Music is great here!

Best Vegan Option at Nation Harbor - Edit
Serves some meat but most of the bowl/wrap options are vegan. Good variety of ingredients, Very fresh tasting. I really enjoyed and appreciated the middle eastern ingredients and flavors, especially since the rest of the harbor is mostly a vegan desert. I particularly enjoyed the garlic humus (nice note in the flavor profile while eating). I also just noticed that they can use their ingredients to make a pizza of your choice (this isn’t on the menu) yum!

Delicious and inexpensive - Edit
Contrary to the negative review from another poster, I had fantastic service. $11 gets you a huge wrap with all manner of vegan fixins. I had falafel, hummus, couscous, cabbage slaw, pickled veg and spicy sauce.

Fast Mediterranean - Edit
The falafel bowl was pretty good - not the highest quality but about what you'd expect from a fast food option. I appreciated that they had an allergen sheet at the beginning of the line so you could clearly see what was vegan

Worst Restaurant at the National Harbor - Edit
On Saturday, 31 July, at or around 8:50 PM, my daughter and I went to mezah mediterranean grill (National Harbor) to grab a bowl for dinner. Since we live in the Harbor, we have visited mezah on multiple occasions. The quality of service has varied over the past couple of years, contingent upon who is making the bowl. On this past Saturday, service was the worst that we have ever received. It was so bad that we left our “prepared” bowls at the register and walked out of the grill.
Read moreWe waited our turn to have our bowls made, but instead of checking us out so that we could pay our bill, the line preparer (a short Hispanic man with curly hair) placed our bowls by the register and began preparing the bowls of the family behind us. When we asked if he would ring us up, he nodded his head, but continued to prepare the bowls of the family of four behind us.
We asked the tall Black woman if she would assist us, but instead of ringing us up, she began assisting preparing the bowls of the family behind us. My daughter peeked into the back room and asked the woman (Hispanic with the blue hair) who was sitting at a desk, if she would ring us up so that we could leave. Instead of assisting us, she yelled at my daughter that she should not be in that area.
It was at that time that we decided to leave the restaurant without our food. We should not have to wait for the line server to prepare meals for customers after us. We should not be treated that way! If you start the sale, finish the sale!! We went to Thai Pavilion for dinner, since we couldn’t get it from mezah. mezah lost revenue, and supplies, due to poor customer service!
We won’t go back!
By the way, the woman with the blue-hair always has a nasty attitude towards us. Her customer service is awful!!
I recommend customers go to Bowie mezah or DC instead of the National Harbor mezah!

Solid vegan options - Edit
Plenty of vegan toppings for falafel, but staff isn't always sure and it's not labeled. Best to do your research online. Their website lists ingredients. Flatbread wraps & bowls are vegan but pita is not. Lots of vegan sauces, but again, you need to know.

A FAVORITE GO TO... - Edit
They are located within a mile of where I live, so it's very convenient. The restaurant is clean, well lite and the bathroom is clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food area is clean and food presentation is colorful. The food choices are plentiful and you are able to have it your way. The portions are good for the price. I always order falafel bowl or pita sandwich (veg choice). The falafel is prepared very well, lots of flavor. The add-one are equally tasty.
Read morePros: Great staff, Price and portion ratio good, Location great
Cons: Beverage prices a bit expensive, Falafel size small, Parking not favorable
