Really tasty food - Edit
Large vegan menu means a lot of choice. I ended up choosing the large vegan nachos to have as a main. The food was incredible. Really decent amount of toppings on the nachos.

Lots of vegan options so very hard to choose which to get, definitely will have to return to try the other options! Ordered the vegan no chicken natcho's, and vegan chilli dog along with other party members orders, all food was brilliant with no complaints

Popped in for some dinner, was nicely surprised by the array of vegan options available! We ordered the nachos to share and they were huge! I had a vegan beef burrito and my husband had a vegan beef chimichanga. Both decent! Would definitely try again.

Food was fine. A whole vegan menu which is good, but as someone has said, a lot of shared ingredients.
Read moreBut this would have been a 3* review had the often obnoxious music not been so loud, it was like being in a club. We quickly ate up and paid as soon as we could just to let our ears go back to normal.
This was on a Sunday at 1pm too, not an evening.
Cons: Very loud music that won't be to everyone's taste

We shared the large no chicken nachos and chimichanga and it was very tasty. The nachos were huge and I've never had a chimichanga before and I loved it. Also got some garlic mayo which was proper tasty 😋

Plenty of options, my partner’s meal was much better than mine (they chose the vegetable option), I had the fake chicken equivalent, but it was the type covered in a crispy coating and didn’t go well in a burrito (imho)

They advertise a full vegan menu but to be honest everything from this menu taste the same. We had quesadilla and enchiladas and nachos. Nachos were really good but the two dishes tasted the same for me.

Mexicali had a wide range of vegan options including junk food menu, enchiladas, burritos, fajita with a choice of vegan “chicken” or “beef” or mixed vegetables.

My partner had the Pit Burger and said it was the best vegan burger he’d ever had. I had the burrito and that was equally amazing. Can’t wait to go again!
