Mevlana

Take away / fast food restaurant with a few (ten) seats outside. French fries, falafel, saitan. Not spectecular but since cheese can be subsituted with vegan "cheese" and all is done freshly, it works fine. Located in the middle of old town.

This place offers an abundance of vegan dishes.
The seitan pizza, spinach gözleme and pide (both turkish flatbread dishes) taste amazing. :-)

Though preparation takes a bit longer, it's always worth it as it's hand made.

The owners are very nice and helpful (though I'm not sure if they speak English.)

Mevlana is a Turkish takeaway very typical for Germany. They serve different Turkish specialities like döner kebap, dürum and lamachun as well as french fries and also pizza. The special thing about them is that almost every dish has a vegan or at least vegetarian option. And it's great! They have vegan cheese for the pizza, vegan fake meet for the döner etc. and it tastes super good!
They also have a small lovely restaurant in the back and tables on the street so you can sit down if you like.
Definately recommend because you don't get an authentic vegan döner that often.
