Pricy but good size portion as shareable. Each dish is very flavorful! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We had mushroom linguini, Green plant bowl, Poseidon smoothie, fries, quesadillas and baklava/ice cream.

Love this place!!! - Edit
My family loved this place today. We were all wanting the dessert but we were too stuffed from their dinner. All of the kids had plenty of options. The food tasted fresh and well seasoned. We’ll go there again when we’re in town. Our server was friendly and service was great. They had plenty of GF options for us too.

Beautiful dinner - Edit
Was a nice place to go eat with vegan options galore and a great wine menu. I had the lasagna and it didn't disappoint! There were a lot of people packed in though. It feels like a trendy place to go with a date.

Good Burrito - Edit
We came here to get takeout for lunch. The impossible burrito was delicious! Very generously sized and covered in a delicious sauce. I would definitely order again. I was a bit underwhelmed by the squash blossom quesadilla. I think if the tortilla was a bit thinner and crispier it would’ve been a bit better. The filling was also sparse and I couldn’t appreciate much flavor. My sister’s Mediterranean bowl was satisfying as well as the green bowl.
Read moreParking can be a bit dicey since the lot is pretty small. I’ll probably be back if I was craving a large vegan burrito or to try their dine-in as an option.
Pros: Delicious and large impossible burrito, Outdoor patio
Cons: Parking can be limited, Quesadilla could be improved

Not worth the price - Edit
The food was okay, but certainly not what I was expecting. The food was all-around way too spicy! You can’t even taste anything else. My partner had to send their dish back and order something else due to how spicy it was (and we typically like some heat)! The discount for the dish sent back was only 10% even though they hardly ate it. Overall we were not impressed and probably won’t be back. Disappointing.

Great cuisine- mediocre service - Edit
Our family had an incredible meal this evening- however, the restaurant was very busy and understaffed. We had to ask for water three times (it finally arrived after we had finished eating) and never received the hot sauce we asked for twice as a guest request. Each of our meals arrived in 5 minutes increments, and we waited for our bill for about 20 minutes. That being said, the food was very tasty. Try the street tacos and the squash blossom quesadilla. It is important to mention that we were given a discount for the poor service and the server was gracious about the situation. We will go back.

Delicious Mediterranean dishes - Edit
Excellent selection. Dined with two others and all three main courses were delicious. One thing I'd love to see is a separate and smaller lunch menu. And less expensive. $22-$24 per main dish for lunch is high.

I had the vegan Caesar salad, and it was the best salad I ever had, vegan or otherwise! I loved all the fresh greens and tasteful additions like olives and grilled avocados.

Outstanding! - Edit
OMG! Mesa Verde's food is so creative and delicious. How they decided to put coriander seeds in the street (jackfruit) tacos is beyond me, but it really worked. They have several baklava options for dessert which you don't see often as a vegan. Everything I tried was great. There's a reason this place has a Michelin star. If you are in Santa Barbara, Mesa Verde is a must. It's more on the pricy side, but so so worth it.
