Isn’t is wonderful to be able to go to a restaurant and not have to have a 15 minute conversation with the wait staff about how you’re a vegan and list all the things you don’t eat and then add on top of that the allergies ( if you have any 😉) ! Awesome place ... loved the food and was even able to eat dessert!

Love this place! - Edit
Been here 3 times now and almost every dish I’ve had was super delicious. I’ve tried Drumsticks, Ocean of Love (build your own salad rolls), Veggie soup, Thai fried rice, Coconut curry noodle soup, Veggie chow mein, Pho, Vietnamese crepe, Claypot dish. I would give the Thai fried rice a 5 out of 5. Our favourites are: Ocean of love, Thai fried rice, Pho & House special rice claypot dish. Will definitely be back!!

yummy noodles, yummy chocolcate brownie - Edit
Their name says "vegetarian" but it's actually completely vegan.
Read moreThe place is packed every time we've been here, but we've never had to wait long for a table. The service is really fast.
I like to get a hot noodle soup on a cold day, or vermicelli noodles on a hot day. I'm not usually a fan of fake meat, but I've liked the few fake-meat dishes I've tried here. I like their Thai iced tea, too.
The chocolate brownie is delicious. They are sometimes apologetic about the limited selection of ice cream that goes with it, but the ice cream is actually really good too. (The tiramisu isn't as good as the brownie, don't bother.)
This is a "Supreme Master" place, but it's pretty minimal. The TV is usually just scrolling through quotes from various world religions telling us to be nice to animals.
Pros: noodles, chocolate brownie, fast service
Cons: fast service sometimes makes the meal feel rushed

This is my go to choice when I’m looking for a quick bite, and I almost always grab it on the way to the airport. You can call ahead for pickup and it’s generally easy in a few mins.

Many ppl love this place, I find it just average - Edit
This place is very popular and always full. Big parking lot makes parking easy.
Read moreThe restaurant serves classi asian dishes: noodle soups, stir fries, curries, noodles, spring rolls etc. I personally find them average among the similar restaurants in the Bay Area. They offer a variety of veggie meat dishes as well as vegetable based ones.
Some of the dishes are better than others. The noodles and stir fries are my favorite .
I personally don't like their cakes but a friend of ours loves them, she thinks they are some of the best vegan cakes around.
Pros: vegan, parking lot

GO HERE - Edit
GO HERE! They have some very special dishes.
Read moreThere are a lot of veg* places with Einstein on the wall, but I always remember Merit for:
-excellent tamarind soup
-Einstein (and other great vegetarians) on their wall
Here is my order for next time and I'm sharing it with you!
I don't personally like fat or nuts, so here's my plan:
Pho is good, with exceptional broth there, but...
Wonton soup is better than Pho IMO due to more veggies (Pho is good and the broth has flavor but just oily with more fried tofu/meat and no veggies).
Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Soup--this is that awesome tamarind tasting soup!
Lotus Salad, no nuts/or nuts on side—get 2 of these and/or try different salad--awesome!
Spring rolls no nuts/or nuts on side.
House Special Rice Clay Pot—really really good!!! This is SO unique, featuring tofu with shredded WoodEar Mushrooms but does have a lot of rice (maybe ask for brown rice, not sure).
Folks love their Thai Ice Tea and some of their cakes too. Also a smiling proud vegan serving team for the win. It's a great place that I will return to again and again.
Pros: Happy Vegan Servers, Special flavorful dishes, Excellent soup and a lot of fresh veggie dishes

But it all tastes off. The orange sauce for the nuggets was more like the white part of an orange. The golden rolls had a weird filling. Just....off.

Not Quite There - Edit
I've been twice. There is potential, but each time we've been, we've left disappointed. On the bright side, they have great selection. However, the flavor is weak.
Read moreMy kids are life-long vegetarians, a choice we made out of compassion. So, imagine how horrible we all felt when the veggie chicken they served was molded to look just like a real chicken breast. It was revolting to look at and just a poor choice for a vegetarian restaurant. However, when I complained to the waitress, she just smiled, nodded, and walked away like she could care less. That made us vow to never return.
Pros: All veg
Cons: Too much fake meat, Made to look like meat, Lacks flavor

Vietnamese Veg and Woo Hoo.. Parking! - Edit
Kind of reminds me of the mass myriad of Vietnamese veg tofu houses we have in San Jose but a bit more Americanized. Regardless enjoyed my lunch and I'm all about anyone making tofu a hundred different ways.
Read moreStopped in for a lunch special. Lemongrass tofu with bell peppers, lemongrass and onion with brown rice. The sauce itself was not indicative of a total lemongrass dish to me as was very brown but regardless, at least know what I am dealing with. Cant' wait to go in and try alot of other of their dishes. Bill with a diet soda was a bit over $10. Good deal:) About the location. Parking is easier to find in this bustling area of lunchtime crowds.

greasy - Edit
This was an okay Asian vegetarian place. We ordered the mixed vegetables, eggplant with tofu, spring rolls, and sweet potato curry to-go. The food was pretty greasy, but guess that's not unusual for Asian vegetarian restaurants. The spring rolls and the sweet potato curry were both pretty good. The eggplant with tofu was flavorful and I would've liked it more if it wasn't drenched in grease.
Read moreOh, if you order takeout, make sure to ask for rice. We didn't know that none of the dishes came with rice, so had no rice to go with the food.

I am a vegan from NC that is in town a few days a week for business. I have made this restaurant my 'home base' away from home. Every thing on the menu is vegan friendly and tastes really great. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. I wish more restaurants would follow their format.
