I rushed to get to this place (last order is at 8PM) and made it just in time. Beautiful table in the middle of the small place and you are surrounded by chest freezers/fridges. This place produces a lot more than is consumed in the little cafe.

INCREDIBLE IN SO MANY WAYS - Edit
This place is an absolute treasure. I am staying in Osaka for 1 month and got lucky enough to be right next to this amazing place. The menu is not huge but every item is INCREDIBLE. The staff is all incredibly nice and atmosphere is fun and clean and feels inviting. The desserts are all based on seasonal a fruit and there are always a good selection to choose from. They are soooo good. The curry is to die for and the rest of the menu is strong too. If you are a vegan and plan on spending some time traveling in Osaka, I recommend this area. Being close to this place has made my whole trip 100 times better and the area is close to many subways lines and has good nightlife nearby but isn’t too busy.

It is a very special restaurant and I feel so lucky to have gotten to eat there so many times. I have been in Osaka for 20 days and eaten here at least 10 times if not more .

I had my first fruit sando here, it was delish! It was melon but the fruit depends on the season. I also had the salt roll which was perfect, buttery and salty! I also tried the banana crumble like tart, this was good but not so special for me. Definitely recommend this place ⭐️💕.

This felt like one of the most "vegan for the animals" places we'd been to in Japan. There are leaflets on benefits of veganism and the staff member told us she was an animal rights activist.
Read moreI wanted to try lots, so I got 4 sides - cauliflower wings (good), potato salad (ok - wasabi warning!), egg sandwich (delicious), and salted bread rolls (AMAZING - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!). My partner had the fried gluten set meal, he enjoyed the gluten and rice but wasn't too keen on the accompaniments so wished he'd also got sides.
We then had absolutely gorgeous and delicious tartlets 😋

Arrived at 2:30, and according to the menu all that is available is the take out stuff. Okay, we think we’ll get takeaway, but they seat us.

So I order something from the lunch menu, but they won’t serve me it because it’s too late now. Okay, so they come back again and tell me they can do the gimbap and I have food coming finally. Meanwhile, the table next to me has the lunch box 🙃
Food is good, it’s just a bit frustratingly arbitrary. Not really interested in coming back at an earlier hour now.

Great variety of vegan options. I have tried their “egg” sandwich, fruit sandwich (pineapple), takeout lunch set, and their “butter” and salt croissants. All of their food was great! It was a bit of a walk from where we were based, but was a nice brunch.
Read moreThey also sell a loaf and a half of vegan bread for, I think 1,000Y? It looked amazing. They have pudding containers and other sweets in the front. Prices on some items are different depending on whether it is takeout or not, and there was a bit of a discount to buy two croissants instead of one (I think 170Y for one versus 150Y each if you get two).
Saw a few tourists there with a very screamy child but that ain’t the restaurant’s fault. It’s a small enough place that it only takes one person to get loud though (and I wouldn’t even call it small inside compared to some other places in Japan lol).

I also got the "egg" sandwich was also great. It had a nice texture and subtle flavour.
Highly rate this place and would recommend to anyone who wants to try a vegan version of the fruit sandwich. I'm still thinking about it weeks later! Drool!

Avoid breakfast menu. Go straight for the cakes if you visit in the morning. I chose plant based toast from the breakfast menu and it was literally piece of plain bread with small bowl of olive oil and nothing else 😀 The fruit cake and pumpkin Mount Blanc we had from the desserts menu were nice.
