Great place to get vegan tamales! - Edit
Great place to get dessert, vegan tamales, and other vegan things like cheese, milk, yogurt, pesto. They also offer a good selection of artesanal items.

We went for the cinnamon rolls (thumbs up). Ended up with a bag full of vegan groceries. Cheese , tortillas, chorizo, jalapeños, greens, and tomatoes. There were other vegan options but we already had a bag full. Other options were hummus, ham, and plant milks. They had samples so you could try before buying. We did not buy the ham but it tasted great. Market is on Saturday’s but most the vendors will tell you were to get on other days.

Many more vendors and booths on Saturdays. I've been both days. Saturday I saw at least eight signs for vegano options including lots of baked goods and sauces. I had a great vegan tamale, and bought some vegan carrot cake. Booths also with fruits and vegetables and souvenirs too. Great market to wander around! Bring pesos.
