A favorite Valencia experience - Edit
We spent hours walking up and down the aisles at this market. We skipped breakfast and lunch, opting to graze there. We left with full bellies and backpacks full of produce purchases.
Read moreWe enjoyed the vegan empanadas, bread, coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Our refrigerator now has blueberries and oranges; bananas were also procured.
According to our phone, we walked the equivalent of one mile. So much to see and enjoy.
Pros: Vegan options , Abundant produce
Cons: Long wait to use the bathroom

Fruits and empanada - Edit
The market is mainly meat and fish, but I found a vegan empanada (with spinach) towards the back. It was tasty and really cheap (only 1.80€). There are many fruit stalls (both fresh and dried) too.

Sobrasada y paté vegano - Edit
No sé qué puesto es exactamente, pero tenían sobrasada y diferentes patés veganos. El paté que escogí no me ha convencido mucho personalmente, pero la sobrasada esta INCREÍBLE.

Description not accurate…. - Edit
The building is a must-see for architecture but I was not able to find any vegan vendors and the fruit/vegetable stalls are not in a separate area from the butchers. Good place to get fresh fruit and juice but if you’ll be upset seeing a lot of (whole) animals including pig heads in butcher stalls you may not want to go inside

Mercado Central Valencia - Edit
It is to find any type of fruit and vegetable.
Read moreThe quality is really good.
You are able to buy seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Also there are lots of nuts and beans that you can buy with your own bags.
Futhermore, the place is an essential place to visit in the city because the arquitecture is just awesome, also is in the downtown so you can enjoy walking around.
Pros: Friendly staff, Good value, Wide variety
Cons: Non-vegan products, but separate from vegan option, Lots of people
