surprisingly good - Edit
One of the very few places in Greece that Ive been in (including Athens) that have soy & almond milk. very vegan friendly- vegan sandwiches and drinks and even an amazing vegan almond-based feta!!! The staff were really nice, overall a surprisingly great experience

Amazing sandwiches - Edit
I wasn't expecting very much when i heard that they offered sandwiches with vegan choices. At the counter the staff took the time to explain what different sandwiches they offered and they sounded really interesting. After the first bite i already knew that this was by far the best sandwich that i ever had - and i'm not exaggerating. Even the bread was delicious! Both of the sandwiches we ordered (the one with "meatballs" and with the "feta") where awesome. I would definitly go there again

Vegan Feta!!! - Edit
Meraki Cafe really turned my stay at Volos into a wonderful memory - they offer a great variety of vegan sandwiches, that are stunningly creative. You can enjoy a variety far beyond plain hummus and fallafel options, including vegan feta and parmesan based on almonds. Despite their great offer, they are not particularly expensive. I would like to rate it five star - happy cow policies do not allow this for non fully veggie-places though - so take it as a five star rating!

Delicious and cheap - Edit
We had the vegan tofu club sandwich and the vegan burger. Both were delicious and very cheap. A downside was that there were other customers smoking indoors.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Meraki is one of only a few places in Volos that caters to vegans, and they have a large amount of options, all clearly marked when they're vegan. The food is very cheap, and the service is good.
Read moreI have been there twice and had two of the different sandwich items, both of which were nice enough. Unfortunately, the restaurant was quite cold both times we were there, and it is very smoky inside, which can be off-putting if you are unused to it.
Pros: Cheap, Friendly staff, Lots of vegan options
Cons: Not great inside , Very smoky

Best vegan food in Greece! - Edit
Been travelling around Europe for a few months trying many vegan places; Meraki has been our favourite. Loads of vegan options, everything was homemade (even the tofu). Falafel/tahini wraps were fantastic, as was desert and the coffee.
Read moreTo top it all, great atmosphere, extremely good prices and super friendly/passionate owner who kindly explained the many different foods. In a Greek market that's still catching up with veganism, you're doing it right! Thanks. (Would rate 5* if Happy Cow let me!)
Pros: Tasty food and wide options, Friendly and passionate staff, Very affordable prices

Such a lovely place ♥️ - Edit
Remember how in "Lord of the rings" on their way to Mordor the fellowship arrived to "The Last Homely House East of the Sea"? This what I think about Meraki caffe. So tasty and friendly! The owner makes all the dishes by himself, And was super pleasant and welcoming. we came back twice because it was so good.
