Small farmers market with limited produce offerings - Edit
The Mentor farmers market is a small farmers market with limited produce offerings as compared to some of the other major farmers markets that are also in Northeast Ohio.
Read moreI would not make a special trip to go to this farmers market. Still if I was in the area on a Friday afternoon, I would certainly head over there and see what was available.
On the day that we went, we were able to purchase produce from vendors that represented a diverse selection of fruit and vegetables. A fifth vendor was selling garlic. A food truck offered some vegan options.
Note: we arrived at 1:55 PM for a 2 PM farmers market official start time. One space was left in the parking lot, and we grabbed it. When we left, a half hour later, people were circling the parking lot looking for spaces. Recommendation? Go early!
Cons: Parking fills up early, More produce vendors needed.
