Disappointing menu del día

Went here for lunch, my partner and I had scoped out the menu and were really looking forward to the fried mushrooms and a burger.

But confusingly, as soon as we sat down the staff brought us a small plate of salad and a bowl of soup - the start of the menu del día. Since many places *only* offer the menu del día at lunch time, we assumed that must have been the only option and didn’t say anything. But as soon as we started eating, we noticed the other tables had all ordered off the a la carte menu. So that was frustrating that the staff didn’t ask what we wanted.

The menu del día was 30bs and pretty mediocre unfortunately. Salad was very small and plain, the soup was okay. The main was a stuffed vegetable with soy meat filling, some sort of creamy sauce, mashed potato and a couple of pieces of plain broccoli. Everything was cold and bland, and the mash was lumpy.

Pros: nice restaurant interior

Cons: confusing service, unsatisfying menu del día

Delicious burger in a cozy atmosphere! Hammocks!

We only tried the burgers, but the patties were way fresher than the Bolivian average :-)
