First time we ate there we went for a take-away and it was so tasty and diverse that we came back for another lunch.
Read moreThe menu of the day consisted both times of different components, amongst others homemade burgers made of veggies, crispy textured soy and flavorful tomato sauce.
We had a nice talk with the owner. She told us about her restaurant in Columbia and her mission to serve good vegan food to bring out veganism into the world.
We can only recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Lovely, friendly, cozy experience! - Edit
The owners of the shop are lovely. I speak with them in english or mandarin, but they speak fluent hungarian as well. Their food is prepared differently every day and they offer multiple sizes for how hungry you are. It’s a small and welcoming place right near Keleti. Their daily meals are well balanced and leave you satisfied after!

The four mock meats all had great flavour and consistency. Portions were big and the flavours were really nice. Hard to beat that value (2900 HUF) in Budapest.

I have been to this restaurant several times in the past few years, and I like to come back from time to time because of the friendly atmosphere, nice-tasting food and cheap prices. Sadly they are no longer open on weekends, so I can't visit too often. The daily menu offers a mix of several types of food: rice, a stew, mock meats and some salad. The portions are generous, the small plate is big enough for me (it costs 1990 HUF as of August 2023). Takeaway is possible in your own box.
Read moreThe only downside I can see (other than the opening hours) is that the daily menu is very similar each time I visit (I just found a photo I took here in 2017 - the plate looks almost exactly the same: rice, mock meat, salad) - it could get a bit boring if someone wanted to visit the place more frequently.

Wenn man nicht gerade danach sucht, kann man dieses kleine Restaurant in einer Nebengasse nahe vom Keleti-Bahnhof kaum finden. Die Auswahl ist klein, aber alles ist vegan. Das Tagesgericht ist recht günstig und macht in der normalen Größe ausreichend satt und bietet viele Komponenten. Zum Sitzen ist es nicht besonders schön, aber die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich.

We would come back to Budapest just to experience this place again. We were three people that stumbled upon this place after discovering that several over establishments in the area were no longer operating. What a nice surprise it was, and so different from the usual impersonal experience of eating out. The food is made with love, highly nutritious and heartwarming.

Hier handelt es sich um ein kleines, rein veganes Restaurant, mit einer kleinen Auswahl veganer Gerichte. Die Location bietet ein paar Sitzgelegenheiten und der Service ist freundlich. Preislich ist das Restaurant schon extrem günstig. Das Essen war geschmacklich auch gut, einen Stern Abzug gibt es allerdings, da das von mir bestellte Tagesmenü nicht einmal annähernd warm war, sondern richtig kalt.
