Good food options and a great view - Edit
Vegan options are indicated on the menu, and there is enough choice. The food is good, although I failed to understand why there had to be such a ridiculous amount of potato crisps with the hotdog (mch more than in the photo). Service is friendly, but badly coordinated, and everything is excruciatingly slow. You get the best view in town, though, especially if you sit outside.

Very good vegan blueberry pancakes - Edit
They have different vegan options, sweet and savoury. They could offer more hot dishes with a lot of vegetables. Vegetables are still undervalued although plantbased eaters love dishes with a lot of vegetables! 💚 They bake their own vegan cakes and excellent blueberry pancakes! Very friendly and helpful people.

Went here a couple of times. The interior is nice and terrace has good views.
Read moreFood is okay, with some dishes being good but for others there is some room for improvement. Some of that lies in the menu descriptions not being too accurate (a hot dog with the wrong kind of sausage or a chocolate mouse cake which needs to be light and airy, not compact like it is)
Service is subpar, with most servers being slow and seeming to not be to happy to work. There is one lady in particular who is amazing though who really goes out of her way to give you a nice experience.

Vegan High Tea - Edit
Since Meneer Nilsson offers vegan high tea, we wanted to try this out and were not disappointed. Reservations and payments are made in advance via the website and the food will be freshly prepared for your selected time. In a 2-hour window, there are various savoury and many sweet dishes with some berries served on an etagere and as much tea as you like (there are almost 20 varieties to choose from!).
Read moreAs the vegan version is also gluten-free, we specified when booking that it didn't have to be gluten-free for us. So we got a sandwich with normal bread and three different dips (aioli, pesto and hummus), which the two chefs were particularly proud of - and rightly so, because that was also our favourite. Except for one gluten-free muffin, which was too dry for us, we liked everything.

Good vegan food, lovely staff - Edit
Happy Cow won't let you give 5 stars to places that serve meat, but this is a really vegan friendly place, super atmospheric and extremely friendly staff. I had the chai latte, seaweed burger and blueberry pancakes. All really good!

I had very good vegan blueberry pancakes here. Friendly people. Good view on the old small yacht harbour of Goes. I was sad to see they use bleach for the toilet, which obviously is very bad for the environment. I guess I expected a modern and a good vega/ vegan place, although I was also sad to see a big meat plate; 500 grams ribs, to be more sustainable and aware of nature, the environment, nature and biodiversity. 💚 Very good pancakes though and very happy with vegan options in Goes! 🙏

Had a vegan hotdog, my wife the seaweed burger and the kids had vegan pancakes. In all, nice food, tasty,... enough vegan options but the hotdog was not what i read on the menu or what i have seen in pictures here on happy cow. Still tasty but it lacked sides.

Vegan in Goes - Edit
Eindelijk nu ook in Goes een Meneer Nilsson. Op een prachtige locatie aan de stadshaven met een uitgebreide keuze voor veganisten. Ik heb er nu twee keer gegeten een keer voor de lunch, heerlijke, luchtige blueberry pancakes, en de andere keer voor het diner, toen werd het bieten carpaccio vooraf en Mexicaanse wraps als hoofdgerecht. Zo wel buiten, met uitzicht op de bootjes, als binnen, leuke vintage/industriële stijl, een ontzettend gezellige sfeer. Personeel vriendelijk, voor de lunch duurde het alleen vrij lang, zoals overal in Nederland, ook hier waarschijnlijk schaarste wat betreft bedienend personeel. En bij mijn tweede bezoek voor een diner met vrienden, werd er een fout gemaakt, en kreeg ik in plaats van de vegan mayonaise, crème fraiche op koemelk basis, wat ik pas opmerkt en dat had ik er al van had gegeten. Maar verder een erg gezellig restaurant, en goed eten. Alles wordt vers gemaakt.
