When you want some taste!

We got a tofu and tempeh curry and a mushroom curry. I asked for extra spicy. After eating bland acai bowls and such, it's so refreshing to get a good curry! The prices are very reasonable and it's in a nice quiet spot despite being just off the main street. The people seemed very nice and double checked the specifics of my order to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Thoughtful.

Pros: Good curry., Reasonable prices., Good location.

Western-style local place

If you are looking for something less trendy, with more local ingredients in the style of burgers, wraps, etc. then this could be it.

I had a simple curry (tofu + tempe); the veg are nice and chunky, curry is tasty. It was adequate; not the most amazing, but good enough to polish off the whole plate.

They also have a large selection of fresh juices. I got the watermelon. They use paper straws here.

They also serve meat here.

Limited vegan choices; bad coffee

I actually went there to have breakfast, but unfortunately they didn't have many vegan food options. As far as I have seen one salad and one wrap. So I just ordered a coffee with homemade cashew milk for 20k. Service was super slow, it took around 15 minutes for my coffee to arrive, although I was the only customer until three others came in ordering after me. Coffee was super watery with no flavour. I understand that cashewnuts are expensive, but it tasted like a watered down black coffee. Good wifi though!

Favorite local restaurant in Canggu

What is necessary to order when you go to Memoh is their "Chocolate Banana Shake", haven't had a better one elsewhere in the world. My favorite wraps are "Sabih Wrap" and "Pesto Tempe Wrap", they both are really really nice. Highly recommend this place and on the side you support a local business! :)

Pros: Best Chocolate shake ever, Yummy food, Very friendly owner

Cons: Small, not suitable for big groups.
