Almost everything was fried and they don't use a dedicated fryer for vegan items. - Edit
I had heard that they had good vegan options and I was hoping to find something that was remotely healthy that wasn't a salad. I ended up getting with a salad and it wasn't very good.
According to the manager, this restaurant does not use dedicated fryers for vegan items. Since every "vegan" item I could find had something fried that means none of their vegan items are vegan in the strictest sense.

try creating your own meal with their additional menu. Their seitan is awesome. lots of hidden vegan things on that menu. ask for it.
Pros: lots of vegan options they are used to catering to

When you REALLY want to chow down - Edit
Delicious. Vegetarian versions of the specials are always on point. This is probably because Matt Fish, the guy behind Melt, is vegetarian. So much food. Great place to take non-vegetarians. Very good beer list. Great place to take family or meet friends for late night food or brunch.
My favorite is the big popper.
The wait can be long - I've been quoted times up to 3 hours. It never takes as long as they said. This is less of an issue now that there are multiple locations but I tend to avoid the Friday/Saturday night rush. Also, if you are only 2-3 people, just wait for a spot at the bar - never more than 20 minutes.
Note, would be a five star but for Happy Cow's limits on non-vegetarian restaurants.
Pros: the food
Cons: the wait
