So so so good! - Edit
This is the most amazingly delicious food. LOVED it. The mix of flavors was perfection. They seriously know how to make a great falafel. And everything else is mixed and seasoned exactly right. And the people working there are super friendly and nice. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go again.

Great food! - Edit
Really good falafel sandwich with different choices of falafel flavors. Sweet potato fries are also really good and freshly cut I believe. Was also told they are opening a few more locations in a couple malls which will be rad.

Delicious! - Edit
The set up at this location is very basic, mostly take out and sidewalk seating, but that is expected sometimes! Our family all tried different things and enjoyed them all, but most of all the hummus and the kale burger. The service is kind and friendly, helpful for deciding and recommending food.

Nice vegan fast food. - Edit
This is part of a chain of fast food vegan, I think, since I had one in Venice as well.
Read moreA little place with no indoor eating possibility, now with the California weather nice outside seats.
Friendly and nice staff.
They have different salads, burgers and just a few cookies as desserts.
As a kale freak, I took the kalefornia salad and the kale burger.
After having finished the kalefornia salad, I understood that just one of both would have been enough.
The dishes are pretty consistent, thus better start slowly and you can always order more if necessary.
Overall good experience.
Pros: Good vegan fast food, Friendly staff
Cons: Only outside seats

Quick Mediterranean and Vegan option for lunch - Edit
Falafel was great. The spicy carrots were in fire but a great side in addition to my plate.

Great food for a causal bite - Edit
The food is great. I recommend their "burgers" and sweet potato fries. It's a tiny place where you order inside and sit outside. They have 4 or 5 tables. You can also order delivery and are on Amazon restaurants.

don't hesitate - Edit
I live two miles from Fala and waited 2 years before I tried it out. What was I waiting for?! At first glance, Fala is easily passed over for its lack of indoor seating. But let's be real, its Jan and I just ate at the outdoor seats and ... is SoCal ever actually "too cold" to eat outside?
Read moreThis spot is fantastic. All vegan. Non GMO. Compostable containers and utensils. Bring your own to avoid even composting.
The food is fantastic and they've five flavors if falafel. Try the Heaven Salad which was overflowing with fermented cabbage, red cabbage, cucumber salad, hummus, greens and four Fala arranged Cobb style.
They've bottled kombucha and teas. And deserts that's I'll have to go back and try. Very affordable!

quick bite - Edit
We stopped in for lunch and there was no one else there although it got busier as we sat and ate. The inside is just an order counter and drink fridge. There's a few table outside. They serve 5 different kinds of falafel to use on sandwiches or salads. They also have falafel patties for burgers. I ordered the pita sandwich with sweet potato falafel and Dirk got the Kalefornia salad with spicy falafel. I love sweet potato, so I enjoyed it, but it really didn't have any traditional falafel taste. The spicy ones were very good too. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back, especially to try a burger as everyone else seemed to be ordering them.

Yummy falafel - Edit
It's a great place to grab and go. The falafel is tasty with different falafel to try out. The spicy was my favorite. Big portions and I think it's a good value the place is tiny. more than two people and its jammed. Outdoor seating isn't the greatest either.

the perfect stop on this part of Melrose - Edit
The concept is really cool, the food is really good, like couple of different kind of falafel in couple of different options (salad, sandwich, burger)
Read moreBetter take away (10 seats outside max and half of them full sun + no space inside)
Globally nice stop for a original falafel burger, considering that everything is fresh and organic is a plus and you taste it. Will come back.
Pros: taste and quality, freshness , location
Cons: chairs no comfy, lemon everywhere (bad in food combining)

Delicious vegan falafel - Edit
I love Fala Bar! We drove from Culver City to check this place out, and it was worthwhile. Delicious and organic food that's also creative. I loved that everything was vegan and I didn't have to order any falafels without cheese, yogurt sauce, etc.
Read moreI got the spicy falafels and thought they were dee-lish. They definitely weren't too spicy for me, but I have a high tolerance (another reviewer said they were too spicy for her). Would love to return and try some of the more inventive burgers.
A few suggestions here...
1) The tiny outdoor seating area is not an ideal place to enjoy your delicious falafel. I don't mind outdoor-only seating if the seats are comfy and the tables are clean/non-wobbly. Something for them to consider for the future.
2) I think it's slightly expensive for what you get, especially when you consider that you aren't even eating inside. I do understand that organic costs more, and I don't think the prices are outrageous.
3) Bigger water cups! With spicy falafel, we need more than a little dentist flouride-sized cup, please.
Fantastic vegan food and I hope they're able to grow their business.

Healthy Middle Eastern and Eco Too! - Edit
Fala Bar is in a tiny space on Melrose, and you can easily miss it if you are driving down this trendy area of West Hollywood.
Read moreThere are a few tables in the front of the restaurant. The space inside has just enough room to order at the counter.
The food is very fresh and healthy, perhaps one of the healthiest Middle Eastern take-out type restaurants I have eaten at. I ordered the Fala Me To Heaven salad, and the salad was tasty, well-balanced, and loaded with healthy vegetables.
Their falafal balls seem lighter and less greasy than I am used to.
What I appreciate most about this restaurant is that their utensils and plates are eco-friendly compostable. I would have given this restaurant a 4 for the taste of their food (wasn't the best I have had), but due to their eco-conscious mentality, I am going to give them a 5 star rating.
Pros: Food, Very Eco-Conscious
