Vegan Tempeh Hoagie - Edit
Tempeh hoagie was decent. Not a big fan of tofu so tried this but similar, just slightly different in texture. (More chewy?) Used Follow Your Heart brand cheese! 😋 (Only brand I find decent. All others have a chemical aftertaste. ☹️) Love that they offer vegan (and gluten free) pizza.

Got the tempeh hoagie. It was delicious. The vegan cheese was so melty that my server double checked that it was vegan before I started eating (it was). Seemed to really care that my food was correctly vegan.

‘Good’ is an understatement - Edit
Mellow Mushroom tries to cater to those with dietary restrictions by offering Follow Your Heart cheese, as well as their savory tempeh, which can be put on your salads, pizza, calzones, etc. There are only a few of their items in which you can not replace the cheeses. They also have a “v” by the menu items that are either vegan to begin with or can easily be made vegan by adding FYH cheese or by simply taking off an item or two. This makes finding items on the menu very easy. Their appetizers are so good. Highly recommend the hummus plate! ... They try hard, and I appreciate that very much!😄

Be Careful - Edit
Mellow mushroom always seems like a good idea but I’ve had them screw up my order so many times. I’ve received calzones with both vegan cheese and regular (on the same one.) and ordered the tempeh hoagie with no cheese and no mayo, add vegan cheese, only to have them put vegan cheese and mayo? They seem to be very careless in caring about vegan requests.
