Not good - Edit
Extremely overpriced for what you’re getting. The pizza is not that good. I also got very sick from the Vegan Veg Out pizza, they had still sprinkled Parmesan all over it without my knowledge.

Poor service, mediocre food - Edit
Merle used to be my go to suggestion for eating with omni friends, but the service and food at my last visit were both very poor. The pizza was cold as soon as it came out. I specified vegan for my pizza and forgot to also specify it for the salad I ordered at the same time and the server was very annoyed when I asked for it to be remade.

My favorite pizza! - Edit
Vegan pizza doesn’t always taste good but I finally found a place that has great pizza! They used to use daiya cheese but thankfully the switched to follow your heart cheese and I’m addicted! Also, they used to upcharge for vegan cheese and now they don’t. You have to ask for no butter or Parmesan on the crust

We went to this restaurant last night.
Read moreI had humus and veg instead of pita as I wanted gluten free . The humus was a big portion.
I then had a vegan gluten free pizza with any toppings and there were lots. It was very good.
Service was extremely slow even though we had a 16 month old with us. !
I did ask for no mushrooms on my salad and it came with them . The waitress offered to bring me a new one but I had been waiting about 40 mins and was hungry and picked them out.
Pros: vegan and gluten free options , waitstaff very friendly
Cons: service was very slow.

fantastic vegan pizza! - Edit
I'm from the northeast and never heard of Mellow Mushroom before, but believe me, if I'm around any of the states that they are in, I will seek them out! As a vegan, pizza is one of those things you just don't have. But now with places like this, that carry vegan "cheez" (in this case Daiya), I can! And it was soooo good. Plus it's a fun place to dine. Thank you, Mellow Mushroom!!!
