No single slices, but you can make your own custom pie (starting at 10” size). Clearly labeled option of Follow Your Heart cheese, but unseasoned “crumbled” tempeh is your only option for protein (better than nothing tho). Not a fan of pricing individual veggie toppings, when the base price is already like $18, so you can’t really get a good veggie mix going.
Read moreThe base is good while the pie is hot, but goes a bit crunchy when it cools down - so eat quick. They use plenty of cheese too, so it gets good and gooey/melty and delicious!

I only discovered the Mellow Mushroom recently and went back twice so I could try the Tempe sub that everyone raves about. A little moan escaped my lips with the first bite, lol. I looked around wondering if that really came from ME! I have NEVER had Tempe that I liked before now and it makes an excellent pizza topping as well. I was crazy disappointed that this MM didn’t have the Tempe. If that’s what you are looking for call first.

At Mellow Mushroom you can make almost all the veggie pizzas vegan by switching out the cheese with vegan cheese. We chose to build our own pizza.

We were walking the very active Broadway area of Nashville and thought to have a late night meal and a couple of beers. So out comes our trusty Happy Cow app and the Mellow Mushroom - Broadway pops up, just a block away.
Read moreWe take a peek in, hear some good music playing, read the menu and see they offer a Create Your Own Pizza with plenty of vegan ingredients. We sat at the bar and met a super nice bartender. We ordered a small pizza with Mushroom Trio, Artichokes, and Garlic Roasted Red Peppers. As we were ordering we made sure to say no cheese, and the barkeep asked if we wanted it with vegan cheese - Yes, please! Kinda weird that the vegan cheese isn't on the menu as an option - but it is definitely availiable and was recommended by our waiter.
The pizza was very good, and the vegan cheese was tasty and had a great mouth feel for a vegan cheese. Nice and melted too.
The Mellow Mushroom is definitely recommended and yes, get the vegan cheese!

Had a great experience here 2x on my recent trip to Nashville. On Friday night we stopped by to listen to the live music, then on Saturday we had lunch. Bonus - more live music! I had a vegan calzone and a small spinach salad w/o cheese. They have vegan cheese for the pizzas and calzones.

I ordered the vegan tempeh hoagie. The taste was good but I didn’t find it too filling. Wish that it contained a little more because I was hungry shortly after. Would. Definitely return to try the pizza.

Can I just say I absolutely love mellow mushroom! We ordered a pizza with red sauce, bbq tofu, broccoli and pineapple. Definitely my go-to pizza spot. Just make sure you ask for no butter on the crust, they usually know!

Located on Broadway - Offers vegan cheese and vegan feta at no additional charge. Very sweet server named Amanda that was attentive to ensuring salad and pizza we ordered were vegan, including salad dressing. Salad very fresh. Ordered a small Cosmic Karma pizza that could have included a lot more veggies. Three stars because of lack of veggies.

We've ordered pizza twice from here, both times stating we were vegan and ordering only vegan ingredients. One time we were given a pizza with dairy cheese on it. The second time we had pepperoni on it. Both times the pizza was cold. Very frustrating from a place I had high hopes for.

Vegan pizza was great but we ordered a veggie pie/vegan cheese and they sent out a meat-lovers pie. We had to send it back to get the right pie. While the server was apologetic and bought us a round of drinks as apology, it’s kind of hard to understand how you confuse a vegan pie with a meat-lovers one.

Stopped here late night for some eats. Got the vegan pizza which was amazing. Not too much cheese. The crust was nice and soft. We brought some home and it heated up real nice. It was too dark to get a photo but it was delicious.

Best tasting Mellow Mushroom - Edit
I’ve been to about 10 different Mellow Mushrooms in the US and this one had the best tasting pizza. They put so much vegan cheese on it, I almost didn’t mind the extra surcharge. Hehe. Been there twice. No issues with getting my vegan options ordered(which sometimes is a hassle at locations of Mellow Mushroom)

I ordered the veggie calzone with vegan cheese. When it arrived I realised it had Parmesan cheese on top. Once I mentioned this to the server he told me the kitchen had actually given me the wrong order. The service was very slow but they did give me the calzone for free in the end. The vegan cheese wasn’t great but the meal did the job.

We had a vegan pizza. The dough was very good even if I am very skeptical it was vegan... otherwise Daiya cheese and seitan or tofu possible. It is a build your own pizza location. Price was reasonable for the location and size ( big pizza 8 slices was around $20 with 2/3 ingredients. Great ambiance there the evening. We had to wait 45 min at lunch while place was almost empty . Will come back if starving in the area.

Casual pizzeria on Broadway that also sells hoagies and burgers. I had the make your own pizza. Lots of veggie toppings to choose from including tempeh and tofu. I had mushroom, spinach and carmelised onion. Along with the vegan tomato sauce and vegan cheese, this is one of the best vegan pizzas ever.
