Tasty but Difficult - Edit
It's great when you can actually get what you ordered. I don't like their vegan cheese. When I say no dairy, no cheese, almost every time I have to ask them to remake it because they make it with real cheese. This makes going there take a very long time. Once I get my veggie covered cheese-free pizza it is always delicious.

We had a great experience at the Mellow mushroom in Hickory. The food was better than expected and he waitress was very helpful

Good vegan pizza and salads. Disappointed that they don’t offer a whole wheat pizza crust and the prices are a little high, but the vegan options are delicious.

I think for the vegan who likes customizable options this is a great place. I made a vegan pizza and it was enough for 2-3 people easily.

Mellow Mushroom Rocks - Edit
I was so excited when I found out we were getting a Mellow Mushroom in Hickory NC... Although they are not completely vegetarian, they are veg-friendly & they have a lot of vegetarian dishes to choose from... Not to mention their food is absolutely delish!

I absolutely love the mellow mushroom! While there aren't many purely veg options. There are many ways you turn your pizza or sandwich veg or vegan.
