Get the avacado sandwich - Edit
Great time at mellow mushroom. I wasn’t thrilled about going to a chain restaurant but was pleasantly surprised with the avocado sandwich. The place is great for vegetarians just ok for vegans but the waitress we had really worked with me.

Great Pizza - Edit
This is a popular pizza spot in the Chattanooga downtown. There are some options, the best being the build your own pizza. Items are marked vegetarian but not vegan. They have Follow Your Heart vegan cheese for the build your own pizza. The pizza is great and the crust is amazing, so thick and fluffy. It is a bit expensive, a small pizza with one topping is $12.25.

Great spot in downtown - Edit
The service was great, we ate outside and it was very nice, on the walking street. Build your own pizza is the best option there of course. As well the hummus is served with vegan pita

Vegan pizza! - Edit
I really enjoyed my vegan pizza here! I’m pretty sure they use Daiya cheese and had a tempeh topping. I would definitely order from here again

"Vegan Pizza" - Edit
Out of more topping options than I can list, poor service and over priced for pretty crummy food :( Very disappointed.

poor offering - Edit
It's cool that a large pizza place has vegan options. But honestly don't bother if the mushroom pizza I had is the standard. It was really just a lump of dough. Having waited at least 40 minutes I just gave on and ate it but should really have sent it back. It had a tiny offering of mushrooms and equally sparse offering of daisy. The only positive I have is the customer service.

Roll of the Dice - Edit
I wanted to love this Mellow Mushroom location. Unfortunately, I didn't. I went to order & was told they were out of Daiya cheese. In retrospect, I should have asked how long they've been out for & if this was a regular occurrence. Anyway, no problem, I thought, I've had cheeseless pizzas many times before that've been phenomenal. Not here. My pizza came out & it was a joke. The toppings were so sparse it was practically bare. If you're going to serve a pizza without cheese, you have to go big on the toppings because there's nothing else to the pizza. After waiting 50 mins for this disappointing pie to arrive, I politely told them it was not acceptable. They made me a tempeh hoagie instead. The hoagie looked like it might have been good if they had Daiya cheese to make it with, but it was served dry. They didn't sub anything else (marinara, Veganaise, olive oil, anything would have worked). The entire dining experience took over an hour and a half. We wanted to be put out of our misery at the end. I left feeling as though they served vegan food but they didn't understand vegan food.

Not just pizza - Edit
The Mega Veggie pizza with vegan cheese is exceptional, but this place also offers several sandwiches - the Spinach Calzone, Teryaki Tofu Hoagie, Grilled Tempeh Hoagie, and Righteous Portabella Reuben are all fantastic! Great place to go with non-veg friends. Awesome selection of draft beer.
