Great vegan pizza and more - Edit
Great vegan pizza. We had the Veg Out, which was loaded with vegan cheese and veggies.
Read moreSome new vegan items on the menu since we last visited, including a tempeh hoagie, and a Greek salad. The server also offered the option of a veganized foccacia with vegan feta.
Huge portions, friendly servers.
2025 update: We tried the BBQ sauce with our tempeh pizza, one of several vegan sauces--spicy and delicious.

I tried their calzone which was absolutely delicious, great size and very filling. Me and my friend ended up getting some free pizza and my friend got a couple free beers when we were there! Great service and you can’t beat free add-ons

Read moreI don't know how much care the chefs take with vegan orders—I can only express my sincerity as an ethical vegan and hope for respectful treatment. However, I have never found anything unwanted on my pizzas. Also, the sometimes amusingly informal staff will let slip silliness or intel; none have ever suggested any cause for concern. To the contrary, they have assured me that there is no reason to worry.
I'm not sure why I feel comfortable with pizza from non-vegan/vegetarian restaurants—it's my only exception. Mod Pizza feels the same, I just don't feel as anxious somehow. This place just makes me feel at ease, and the pizza is extraordinary.
Pros: BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER EATEN, Staff is fun and casual., Establishment is clean and well maintained.
Cons: It isn't a vegan only restaurant.

Great Pizza - Edit
It's hard to find a vegan pizza that actually tastes like pizza. So I was more than surprised when I tasted their pie and realized that it actually tasted like the real thing. Not saying it was the best pizza ever, but it was a Pizza. I enjoyed every second of it.

First visit I was "glutened" and was quite sick.
Second visit, my pizza was PERFECT!!
No illness.
(But, my husband said when my pizza came out the first time it looked NOTHING like the pizza we ended up taking home. We don't know what was wrong with it but the take out person saw it and said it was wrong. The remake took a very long time. We had 2 drinks each before it was ready. So, I'm wondering if the host/take out person hadn't caught it would I have been sick 3 out of 3 visits??)
Third visit, my pizza had REAL DAIRY cheese! I realized immediately after my first bite. (It was also somehow quite cold?)
It's 2 am and I'm too sick to even try to go to bed yet.
I called, the manager said he would "take care of my pizza." I really should have asked him exactly what that meant, lol. He also said they would call back later to check on me? I thought that was weird but said ok. They never called.
Not sure I should give them a fourth try... :/
Pros: I like when my pizza is correct.
Cons: I am sick.

While the vibe felt hippie esque, the options were limited but don't let it stop you, bring along a beautiful date and enjoy! The other options while limited they seem delicious would try again!

We probably order the vegan veg out pizza twice a month, honestly. They use Follow Your Heart cheese and it's worth the price of the pizza!. They seem to be adding onto their vegan section, so I am excited about that!

We've had great vegan pizza here, and we've had some disappointing pizza here. It seems to vary.
Read moreHowever, one time we ate inside and our 2 year son didn't want to eat the pizza. We tried pasta, some plain bread bites, he wouldn't eat anything. They finally found an apple somewhere and cut it up into little slices for him to eat and he was happy. It wasn't until after we paid and left that we realized they didn't charge us for any of the food that our son didn't eat. The staff was already super nice and earned a well deserved tip from us, but I would have given them even more had I realized they didn't charge us for everything.
Pros: When done right, the vegan pizza is my favorite
Cons: Price is a bit high

Disgusting droopy undercooked pizza. Even after we asked if they could cook it more it still wasn't cooked enough. Some decent vegan options but all had an off taste. Only thing my family actually enjoyed was the drinks that you can get anywhere.
