Built my own pizza with vegan cheese (follow your heart), veggies, and tempeh. The crust was crunchy and fulfilling. Will definitely be back ☺️

Great Alternative - Edit
Mellow Mushrrom was a great option when traveling down South. I'm also delighted that they "Follow Your Heart" cheeze. Pizza and Calzone was good and very filling.

Finally a real vegan pizza - Edit
Yeah this place was pretty awesome. I got the veg-out pizza with vegan cheese and I made sure to say no butter or Parmesan on the crust. They were super friendly and the pizza was awesome. Definitely will be back

A Restaurant for those that Miss Pizza - Edit
Mellow Mushroom is a pizza lovers dream. You can top your pizza with vegan cheese and atypical toppings like tempeh. If pizza is not your thing you can order a tofu or tempeh stuff calzone.
Read moreWhat really impressed me about this location is that the staff was clearly familiar with veganism. When I added vegan cheese to my pizza the waitress asked if I also wanted to hold the butter that they sometimes place on the crust.
