Great service, amazing food! I had the Avocado and Tempeh Reuben and it was one of the best Reuben I have ever had, including before I was vegan. I wish this app would allow you to give five stars to cafes that aren't 100% vegan.

Detoured here on our way back from a trip western MD, soooo happy we did! Incredible food and drinks!!! I am so jealous that MD doesn't have this gem. They stock vegan muffins at the counter! We tried the Reuben and vegan nachos, loved both. The raspberry fresh squeezed soda was delicious!! The outside seating is lovely when weather permits. Just ask for no cheese on sandwiches!

so this place is awesome. a ton of stuff on the menu is already vegan, and they use vegenaise on all the sandwiches so i'm sure you could get something else vegan too if you didnt like something on the already large list. the vegan reuben IS THE BEST VEGAN REUBEN IVE EVER HAD. like for real. they use big fat chunks of avocado instead of cheese, a super pretty marble rye and its not overly greasy or gross like some vegan reubens ive had. its the best thing on the menu in my opinion. ive had pretty much everything on the menu thats vegan, except like the PBJ sandwich. lol. the burgers are pretty good, but are like a typical bean burger and kinda mush and fall apart a little while you eat them. but they taste very good. the juices are fantastic and the salads are all very tasty. i like the miso dressing the best. they also have a super small little cooler and shelf in the front that has like coconut water and kombucha (for after you go trail running!) and some oils/vinegars etc.. its also just a pretty cute place to hang out and the back patio is awesome (when it's warm out). i saw a momma squirrel carry her baby in her mouth from the house next door along the fence to the barn in the back while i ate. it was adorable and i almost died from cuteness. i eat at this place pretty much every time im in shepherdstown. after talking about that reuben i want to go back RIGHT NOW! :D

Fresh Adorable Vegan Cafe - Edit
I absolutely love mellow moods. Been here several times and always happy with my food. Their smoothies are delicious and they also have some breads and baked goods for sale. Have had several sandwiches and salads and they are always quality and prepared fresh. Come for the small town and earthy atmosphere and stay for the fantastic food.

My wife and I were so happy to find this cool little cafe! Vegan and vegetarian food choices, great selection of juices and smoothies (including with spirulina and/or wheatgrass!). The maple quinoa (w/ apples and nuts) for breakfast was to die for! If you are anywhere near Shepherdstown, WV you MUST stop in and try one of their delicious creations!

My family and I live about 45 minutes away from Mellow Moods, but we like to take the trip whenever we have the time. The curried chickpea wrap and the tempeh burger are some of our favorites, but everything is good. They have amazing juices and they usually have vegan dessert options. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants in the world.

Read moreabout a week ago I over heard the owner talking about how much he cares about supplying people with the opportunity to eat organic food. He is very passionate about his restaurant, and its shows!
Last sunday he ran out of fresh mint, luckily every Sunday the local farmers market is set up just down the block. he crossed the street and bought fresh local mint to serve his customers.
