Very good vegan family dinner - Edit
Twice a week they have a family dinner which is essentially all you can eat vegan food. They have a chicken option, but you can get cauliflower instead. Ask for fruit if the dessert isn't vegan.

Mixed experience - Edit
I stayed here for 3 nights and when I ate at the hostel my experience varied greatly depending on which staff were working; some knew what vegan meant and some clearly did not. I was given feta cheese and natural yogurt with my food on my first day, so just be careful what’s on your plate and if you’re not sure then ask. I had the garlic pasta dish, and the desayuno típico without eggs, which were both ok. I’d say you can get a basic meal here for convenience if you’re staying, but other nicer places to eat out close by, and I wouldn’t recommend vegans who aren’t staying at mellow to eat here

Vegan options need major improvement to ensure a good experience for everyone - Edit
As vegans we were really looking to staying at this hostel, having been told there were ample vegan options. Unfortunately, in reality, there was only one dish on the menu that was fully vegan (avocado toast). Other items were marked veggie but when we enquired whether they could be made vegan, we were often met with confusion and told most of them couldn’t be. For example, they said they could do a pasta but with no sauce at all. Chips were brought with mayo even though we explained really carefully that we didn’t want any mayo brought. Beautiful hostel so I really hope they’ll cater better to vegans going forward!! Selina do an amazing job of it so perhaps a hostel to get inspo from
